Anti-Christian hate crimes in Turkey have doubled
The number of anti-Christian hate crimes in Turkey more than doubled from 2021 to 2023, according to an International Christian Concern analysis.
The Freedom of Belief Initiative, a religious freedom watchdog group, reports that hate crimes against Christ followers in Turkey jumped from 10 in 2021 to 22 in 2023.
Since 2020, Christians have experienced most of the religious hate crimes committed in Turkey, with 52 occurrences reported. The crimes include property damage, harassment, and violence.
In John 15:20, Jesus said, “If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you.”
Int’l Criminal Court issues arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu
In a shocking development, the International Criminal Court issued formal arrest warrants yesterday for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for alleged Israeli “crimes against humanity” and “war crimes” committed in Gaza.
Bauer concluded, “Donald Trump imposed sanctions on International Criminal Court officials when they tried to go after U.S. troops who fought in Afghanistan. The Biden/Harris administration repealed those sanctions. This insane action ensures that the Trump/Vance administration will terminate any and all support for the International Criminal Court.”
Matt Gaetz withdraws his name from U.S. Attorney General consideration
Former GOP Congressman Matt Gaetz of Florida, a Trump loyalist, withdrew his name for U.S. Attorney General yesterday, reports NBC News.
He tweeted, "It is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump/Vance Transition. There is no time to waste on a needlessly protracted Washington scuffle, thus I’ll be withdrawing my name from consideration to serve as Attorney General. Trump’s Department of Justice must be in place and ready on Day 1.”
Gaetz's path to being confirmed by the U.S. Senate was mired by a series of allegations of sexual misconduct, including his hiring prostitutes and having an intimate encounter with a minor at a 2017 party, according to leaks from the House Ethics Committee.
The New York Times had reported that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, Senators Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine, and Senator-elect John Curtis of Utah had all indicated they would not confirm Gaetz as Attorney General. With a 53-member majority, four defections would be enough to defeat the nomination.
Will Gov. Ron DeSantis appoint Gaetz as Senator to replace Marco Rubio?
Questions have swirled on whether Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will now nominate Gaetz as his state's next senator.
DeSantis must appoint a replacement for Senator Marco Rubio, who was tapped as Trump's secretary of state, should the Senate confirm him.
Under the U.S. Constitution and Florida state law, the governor has the power to fill vacancies in the U.S. Senate while voters decide who fills empty seats in the U.S. House.
Senator Marco Rubio of Florida was re-elected in 2022. That means whoever replaces him will serve until 2026, when a special election will ensue to determine who holds the seat for the rest of his term until 2028.
Sources close to DeSantis say it’s unlikely he’ll appoint Gaetz.
Trump taps Florida’s former Attorney General to be U.S. Attorney General
President-elect Donald Trump announced former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi as his nominee for U.S. attorney general, reports The Epoch Times.
On Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Pam was a prosecutor for nearly 20 years, where she was very tough on violent criminals, and made the streets safe for Florida families.”
Bondi also served as Florida’s attorney general from 2011 to 2019. The president-elect said that as the state’s first female attorney general, Bondi “worked to stop the trafficking of deadly drugs, and reduce the tragedy of fentanyl overdose deaths, which have destroyed many families across our country.”
MSNBC’s Joe & Mika met with President-elect Trump after calling him Hitler
On Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, Jon Stewart, a liberal comedian, got a chuckle out of the recent visit made by MSNBC’s top liberals, Joe and Mika Scarborough, who were willing to sit down with President-elect Trump at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.
STEWART: “Joe and Mika Brzezinski Scarborough, who famously warned of the growing threat of Trump's fascism, also had an interesting announcement to make.”
MIKA SCARBOROUGH: “Last Thursday, we expressed our own concerns on this broadcast, and even said we would appreciate the opportunity to speak with the president elect himself.
“On Friday, we were given the opportunity to do just that. Joe and I went to Mar-a-Lago to meet personally with President-elect Trump. And for those asking why we would go speak to the president elect during such fraught times, especially between us, I guess I would ask back, ‘Why wouldn't we?’"
STEWART: “Because you said he was Hitler!" (laughter)
Biden secretly awards Planned Parenthood leader
And finally, in a secret ceremony, President Joe Biden gave the Medal of Freedom to Cecile Richards who aggressively ran the murder giant, Planned Parenthood, for 12 years, reports LifeNews.com.
According to the Washington Times, “The ceremony was not listed on Mr. Biden’s public schedule, nor was his decision to award the medal to Ms. Richards publicly announced until after the presentation. Members of the media were not invited to watch the ceremony.”
Under Richards’ leadership, Planned Parenthood pushed abortion on demand during all nine months of pregnancy. Despite the fact that she oversaw the systematic murders of 1.5 million pre-born babies every year, President Biden laughably called Cecile Richards “a leader of the utmost character.”
However, Isaiah 59:7 describes Cecile Richards more accurately. “Their feet rush into sin; they are swift to shed innocent blood. They pursue evil schemes; acts of violence mark their ways.”

European Christians faced 2,444 discriminatory incidents in 2024
Observatory on Intolerance Against Christians in Europe released a study this month entitled, “Intolerance and Discrimination Against Christians in Europe Report 2024.”
Christians faced 2,444 discriminatory incidents last year across 35 European countries. Those included 232 personal attacks like harassment and physical violence.
The number of incidents is up from 1,029 in 2022. France, Germany, and the United Kingdom were hotbeds for discrimination.
The report noted, “A number of restrictions on religious freedom affecting Christians in Europe have been identified, concerning public prayer, religious manifestations, public expression of religious beliefs, religious autonomy, parental rights, and conscientious objection to military service and certain medical procedures.”
2 Timothy 3:12-13 says, “Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.”
Poland decriminalized abortion
Poland’s parliament voted in favor of decriminalizing abortion on November 8.
The left-liberal coalition of Prime Minister Donald Tusk supports the bill. He assumed the office last year.
Tusk has already pushed for doctors to allow abortions whenever pregnancy is deemed a danger to woman’s health, even mental health.
Hospitals in Poland are already facing fines for not performing abortions in such cases.
Court orders Colorado to pay Christian $1.5 million
In the United States, the state of Colorado agreed to a $1.5 million settlement in a religious freedom case.
Alliance Defending Freedom helped Lorie Smith in the case. She is a Christian graphic artist and owner of 303 Creative. For nearly seven years, the state tried to force her to promote messages through her work that go against her religious beliefs.
Alliance Defending Freedom President Kristen Waggoner said, “The government cannot force Americans to say things they do not believe, and Colorado officials have paid and will continue to pay a high price when they violate this foundational freedom.”
Johnson won’t let Congressman pretending to be woman in women’s restrooms
Congressional Republicans are standing against transgenderism.
House Speaker Mike Johnson announced a new policy Wednesday, banning men, pretending to be women, from using women’s bathrooms. The rule applies to the House section of the Capitol building.
Listen to Johnson’s comments to reporters.
JOHNSON: “A man is a man, and a woman is a woman, and a man cannot become a woman. That's what Scripture teaches.
“But I also believe that we treat everybody with dignity. So, we can do and believe all those things at the same time.”
The policy comes as Delaware recently elected the first openly transgender member of Congress. The Democrat seat will be held by a man who was born Tim McBride, who served as American University student body president, but now calls himself Sarah McBride.
In Mark 10:6, Jesus said, “From the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’”
Texas Board of Education approves lessons on Christianity
The Texas State Board of Education voted in favor of Christian curriculum on Tuesday.
Board members voted 8-7 in the preliminary decision with an official vote scheduled for Friday.
The curriculum in question is called Bluebonnet Learning. It includes lessons on the history of Christianity and sections from the New Testament.
Schools would have the option to adopt the curriculum with a financial incentive if they do.
Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott said the lessons will “allow our students to better understand the connection of history, art, community, literature, and religion on pivotal events.”
Abortion Pill Reversal has saved 6,000 babies
And finally, Heartbeat International reports the Abortion Pill Rescue® Network has saved the lives of 6,000 babies as of yesterday.
Abortion Pill Reversal allows many mothers to save their pregnancy after starting down the path of a chemical abortion.
After taking the first pill, some women regret their choice and want to reverse it. That's where abortion pill reversal comes in. Using the natural hormone progesterone, medical professionals have been able to save 64-68% of pregnancies through abortion pill reversal.
Jor-El Godsey, president of Heartbeat International, said, “Each life is precious and filled with promise and potential that, if not for tireless work of the [Abortion Pill Rescue® Network], might not have had that second chance. What a joy to celebrate this milestone of so many lives saved that they would overflow a concert hall!”
Job 29:15-17 says, “I was eyes to the blind and feet to the lame. I was a father to the needy, and I searched out the cause of him whom I did not know. I broke the fangs of the unrighteous and made him drop his prey from his teeth.”

India falsely charges Christian groups with embezzlement
After the Hindu nationalist BJP Party came to power in India at the national level in 2014, many large Christian organizations that had been receiving funds from abroad came under government scrutiny and were falsely charged with embezzlement and other invented corrupt financial practices, reports International Christian Concern.
Recently, the government stated that many of these organizations were involved in alleged illegal religious conversion activities, too. For the first time, India’s Ministry of Home Affairs has listed illegal religious conversion activities as a reason for blocking foreign funding of certain non-governmental organizations working in India.
According to Open Doors, India is the 11th most difficult country worldwide in which to be a Christian.
Proverbs 17:23 says, “Corrupt judges accept secret bribes, and then justice is not done.”
Charles Barkley: Democrats lost because "y'all stupid"
After Donald Trump’s landslide victory, former National Basketball Association star Charles Barkley had a word for the Democrats on the Steam Room podcast.
BARKLEY: “And I just want to say this to the Democrats, I'm an independent who voted Democratic. Do me this favor. When you win, you get to say what you want to. When you lose, you need to shup up.
“Oh, President Biden. They didn't get him out the race soon enough. Kamala didn't do this. We lost because we had no game plan. We still haven't solved the immigration problem. Have no viable answers. Never addressed inflation.
“Bringing all these stupid stars out to rally to vote. What was that? Hey, I love Beyonce. What's bringing her out? That ain't gonna make me vote a certain way. Cardi B. I like Cardi B. That ain't gonna make me vote a certain type of way. You guys lost because y'all stupid.”
Senator Ted Cruz objects to Democrats who want to censor conservatives
And on Senator Ted Cruz’s podcast entitled “Verdict,” the Texas statesman said Democrats are not interested in doing much introspection about their massive loss on Election Day.
CRUZ: “The Democrats, they're not actually looking introspectively and saying, ‘Gosh, maybe we were wrong on the issues. Maybe the fact that over 70% of Americans thought we were on the wrong track. Maybe that's a problem. Maybe we shouldn't have had an open border and let this country be invaded. Maybe we shouldn't have spent money like drunken sailors and caused inflation that hurt working families across this country.
“‘Maybe we shouldn't have waged a war on energy that hurt everyone who's struggling to make ends meet. Maybe we shouldn't have undermined our friends and allies, and we shouldn't have appeased our enemies. Maybe we shouldn't have given $100 billion to Iran that funds terrorists and Hamas and Hezbollah and causes a war. Maybe our policies are wrong.’
“That would be a rational and sensible thing for Democrats to do. So, they're not doing that.”
Senator Cruz cited exhibit A of MSNBC host and former White House press secretary Jen Psaki who doubled down on censoring people like podcaster Joe Rogan who has challenged Democrats and dared to interview Trump for three unfiltered hours which enabled listeners to cast an informed vote.
CRUZ: "Instead, they're saying, ‘Hmm, maybe if people just didn't know what we were doing. Maybe if they couldn't say what we were doing. Maybe if they couldn't criticize what we're doing. Yeah, that's how we'd win.’
“So, Jen Psaki, Joe Biden's former press secretary, went on a podcast and she said this, ‘One of the things that's changed ever since I got involved in politics is just the rise of the percentage of people who get their information off of platforms that have no fact-checking mechanism and no accountability for having disinformation spread. Laws have to change.’
“She's not saying, ‘We, the Democrats, need to communicate better.’ She's not saying, ‘We the Democrats need to change our policy.’ She's saying, ‘We need to change the laws to make it illegal for that Joe Rogan to say things we don't like. We need to change the laws to make it illegal for anyone to post on X what the actual facts are of what we, the Democrats, are doing. If we can silence everyone, then we stay in power forever.’”
Late-term abortions in Oregon more than doubled in 2023
Oregon Health Authority’s finalized 2023 abortion records show dramatically increased abortion rates in numerous categories, including a sharp rise in the number of late-term abortions compared to the prior year, reports LifeSiteNews.com.
According to the Oregon Health Authority’s Center for Health Statistics data, abortion mills in Oregon performed a total of 10,075 abortions last year compared to 8,672 in 2022, a 16% increase.
Among the 10,075 abortions, 225 of them were performed at or after 23 weeks gestation (roughly the age of “viability”), more than two and a half times the 85 late-term abortions performed in 2022.
At 23 weeks gestation and later, the unborn baby can feel pain, and many can survive outside the womb if born prematurely.
Elon Musk praises families on X
Elon Musk is continuing to spread the word about the importance of families.
On X this week, Musk sounded the alarm in response to a post that claimed birth rates in Sweden and Britain are now at their lowest levels since 1749 and 1938, respectively.
Musk said, “Instead of teaching fear of pregnancy, we should teach fear of childlessness.”
Psalm 127:3-5 says, “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.”
AI model detects cancerous brain tumors missed during surgery
And finally, researchers have developed an Artificial Intelligence-powered model that can determine in 10 seconds during surgery if any part of a cancerous brain tumor that could be removed remains, reports Good News Network.
According to the research team led by the universities of Michigan and California, the technology, called FastGlioma, outperformed conventional methods for identifying what remains of a tumor by a wide margin.
When a neurosurgeon removes a life-threatening tumor from a patient’s brain, they are rarely able to remove the entire mass. What remains is known as a residual tumor.
By contrast, FastGlioma detected and calculated how much of the brain tumor remained with an average accuracy of approximately 92%.

4 Christians killed in Mozambique, Africa
3 Nigerian pastors kidnapped by Muslims
Plus, at least three pastors have been kidnapped by Muslim militants in Southern Nigeria over the last few weeks.
Nigeria remains one of the most dangerous nations in the world for Christians in 2024.
Archbishop of Canterbury resigns over failure to discipline pedophile
This comes after the release of a report investigating the 50-year abuse record of a church leader by the name of John Smyth. The church failed to discipline Smyth who had continued a pattern of sexual and physical abuse of boys in three different countries over a long period of time.
Welby himself called the church’s response "a long-maintained conspiracy of silence about the heinous abuses of John Smyth.”
Welby's resignation also comes just a few weeks after he affirmed that homosexual activity was morally acceptable as long as there was what he called a “stable, committed and faithful relationship.”
Mali, Africa criminalizes homosexual behavior
The parliament of the West African country of Mali passed a law banning homosexual behavior on October 31st, joining 30 other African nations taking the same position.
African nations towards the south and east of the continent, however, have done just the opposite — with their government legitimizing the practice over the last 10 years. This includes Gabon, Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, and Namibia.
Migration up 10% worldwide
The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development has released the International Migration Outlook Report for 2024.
It documents the highest level of migration from poor countries to rich countries in recorded history. This accounts for 6.5 million immigrants, not counting the 4.7 million Ukrainian immigrants due to the war.
That’s a 10% increase year-over-year. Nations reaching record levels of immigrants in 2023 included the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Japan, and Switzerland.
Typhoon Man-yi in Philippines has 143 mile-per-hour winds
(Sound from Typhoon Man-yi)
Typhoon Man-yi is equivalent to a Category 3 hurricane, sporting winds up to 143 miles per hour. More than half a million people have evacuated the Bicol region in Luzon to prepare for the storm.
Thus far, seven people died in a related landslide, reports the Associated Press.
At least 160 Filipinos have died in the previous five storms hitting the island nation this season.
Missouri greenlights abortion up until 21 weeks
By a vote of 52% to 48%, Missouri voters have set the course for legislation to allow for abortion in their state up to the point of fetal viability or 21 weeks gestation.
Only South Dakota retained a pro-life position in the November election. Florida’s vote to liberalize their abortion law failed by a 57-43% margin, just short of the 60% requirement. Florida will retain its position to kill babies up until the sixth week. Nebraska will allow for first trimester abortions, after this year's election.
During this election, seven states created a so-called “right to abortion” in their state constitutions including Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, and New York. They join Ohio, Kansas, and Kentucky, the three states which previously approved pro-abortion referendums.
Isaiah 1:4-6 says, “Alas, sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity. … The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faints. From the sole of the foot even to the head, there is no soundness in it, but wounds and bruises and putrefying sores.”
Al Mohler opposes Matt Gaetz for Attorney General
President-elect Donald Trump’s selection for Attorney General is a bridge too far for some Christian leaders.
In an interview with World Magazine, Al Mohler, the President of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, called the selection of Matt Getz “shocking.”
As The Worldview documented yesterday, Liberty Counsel President Mat Staver referred to Gaetz as "not qualified,” and believes his nomination is "shocking and disappointing to those who have followed this man and the lurid scandals and serious allegations of sex parties and drugs during his tenure in the U.S. Congress.”
Could entire departments be eliminated under Trump?
Expect entire federal departments to be eliminated under a Trump presidency.
That's what Vivek Ramaswamy, the appointee for leading the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency told Fox Business Channel on Sunday.
Listen.
RAMASWAMY: “We expect mass reductions. We expect certain agencies to be deleted outright. We expect mass reductions in force in areas of the federal government that are bloated. We expect massive cuts among federal contractors and others who are overbilling the federal government. So yes, we expect all of the above. And I think people will be surprised by, I think, how quickly we're able to move with some of those changes, given the legal backdrop the Supreme Court has given us.”
72% of Americans oppose gender change for children
A recent Rasmussen poll found that 72% of Americans oppose transgender change attempts for children. That’s up 10% since August.
Also, 73% of voters want parents notified should children be looking to change their name or gender. Several months ago, the state of California restricted parental notification concerning gender transition attempts for children.
Earth now has a temporary second moon

Muslims killed four Christians in Kaduna State, Nigeria
As a Nigerian Christian man named Kushuwai started harvesting rice with his family on November 8th in Jema’a County, he suddenly found himself in the middle of a nightmare, reports International Christian Concern.
Muslim extremists, believed to be Fulani militants, attacked his farming community, killing four Christians and critically wounding several others in Southern Kaduna State.
Kushuwai said, “They came in their numbers, armed with guns, knives, and machetes. They encircled us without firing a shot. My son begged them to spare us, but they attacked him instead. My daughters and the other women ran for their lives while I was struck down trying to intervene.”
Although Kushuwai survived with severe injuries, his son was brutally killed.
In Romans 8:35, the Apostle Paul asked, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?“
Chinese student killed 8, injured 17 after failing exam
On Saturday, a Chinese student killed eight people and injured 17 others in a stabbing attack at Wuxi Vocational Institute of Arts and Technology in Yixing city, China, reports One America News.
Police stated that the suspect, who was arrested on the scene, was a recent graduate who was motivated to kill and maim because of “failing [an] exam, not receiving a graduation certificate, and dissatisfaction with internship compensation.”
Biden authorizes Ukraine to use US-supplied long-range missiles inside Russia
President Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine to use U.S.-supplied long-range missiles to strike deeper inside Russia, easing limitations on the weapons as Russia deploys thousands of North Korean troops to reinforce its war, reports the Associated Press.
The decision allowing Kyiv to use the Army Tactical Missile System for attacks farther inside Russia comes as President Vladimir Putin positions North Korean troops along Ukraine’s northern border to try to reclaim hundreds of miles of territory seized by Ukrainian forces. North Korea has provided thousands of troops to Russia to help Moscow try to claw back land in the Kursk border region that Ukraine seized this year.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and many of his Western supporters have been pressing Biden for months to allow Ukraine to strike military targets deeper inside Russia with Western-supplied missiles, saying the U.S. ban had made it impossible for Ukraine to try to stop Russian attacks on its cities and electrical grids.
The Red State, a conservative website wrote, “Maybe Joe Biden didn't get the memo: he lost the presidential election and will be vacating the White House in January. It's an odd time to be announcing a significant--and perhaps escalatory--shift toward Ukraine as they try to stave off Russian aggression in the ongoing war between the two countries.”
Trump picked Secretary of Energy
President-elect Donald Trump has named energy industry executive Chris Wright as his choice to lead the Department of Energy, pending Senate confirmation, reports The Epoch Times.
In a November 16 statement, Trump wrote, “Chris has been a leading technologist and entrepreneur in energy. He has worked in nuclear, solar, geothermal, and oil and gas. Most significantly, Chris was one of the pioneers who helped launch the American Shale Revolution that fueled American energy independence, and transformed the global energy markets and geopolitics.”
In remarks at a National Conservatism conference in 2021, Wright warned that ongoing attempts to shift from oil, coal, and gas to renewables are “the largest politically driven mis-investment ever,” that will increase energy costs and reduce reliability.
Christian group opposes Matt Gaetz for Attorney General
A conservative Christian legal group is opposing Present-elect Trump’s nomination of Matt Gaetz to be the next Attorney General
Liberty Counsel, headed by Mat Staver, released a statement in which they declared, “Matt Gaetz is neither morally nor professionally qualified to become the United States Attorney General. This is the highest law enforcement position in the country. America deserves much better.
“Professionally, Matt Gaetz graduated from law school in 2007, and briefly worked for a law firm in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida before being elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2010. He served in that role until 2016, and was then elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2017. Gaetz has three years or less experience in the practice of law, hardly enough to serve as the nation’s chief law enforcement officer.”
In the statement, Liberty Counsel wrote, “Morally, Gaetz has been under a cloud of sex and drug allegations. On Wednesday, as soon as he was tapped by President-elect Donald Trump, Gaetz immediately resigned from Congress, thus ending the Ethics probe into his sex parties that includes allegations of paying an underage girl for sex. Gaetz will face tough questions during any confirmation hearing and will likely not be confirmed. His immediate resignation raises serious questions as it occurred just two days before the U.S. House Ethics Committee was scheduled to vote to release what is expected to be a damaging report.”
Mike Pence opposes RFK Jr at HHS over abortion
Former Vice President Mike Pence urged Senate Republicans on Friday to vote against Trump's nomination of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. as secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, citing his views on abortion, reports the Christian Post.
Court upholds Indiana’s ban on gender transition for minors
A federal appeals court panel has upheld Indiana’s ban on sex-change operations and hormone drugs for minors, including things like administering puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and cosmetic irreversible surgeries, reports The Christian Post.
A three-judge panel of the U.S. 7th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 2-1 Wednesday to reverse a lower court decision against Senate Enrolled Act 480, which passed in April 2023.
Talk show host Dennis Prager seriously injured his back
And finally, last Tuesday, conservative Jewish talk show host Dennis Prager seriously injured his back in a fall at his home, reports The Express Tribune. Prager, age 76, hosts a weekday show heard on 400 radio stations.
He is also the founder of PragerU, known for its short educational videos that promote conservative values on topics like economics and political science. It is "the most viewed conservative video site in the world, with one billion views a year, more than half by people under the age of 35."
Please pray for his full recovery.
And send a get well card addressed to Dennis Prager, 15021 Ventura Blvd. #552. Sherman Oaks, CA 91403.

Hindus attack Christians in India’s Odisha State
Christians are facing a surge of attacks in India’s Odisha State.
The Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party came to power in the state just six months ago.
Hindu nationalist groups in the state have disrupted multiple prayer and worship gatherings of Christians recently. They even evicted a pastor and his wife from a church.
A local pastor told International Christian Concern, “These incidents cropped up only after the [Bharatiya Janata Party] came to power in Odisha. We know that it will continue in the days ahead. Only God can help us.”
1 Peter 4:12-13 says, “Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.”
Few Finnish young people believe in God
The Church Research Institute released a report on the religiosity of young people in Finland.
The study found only 11% of women under 30 believe in the God of Christianity. The younger women were, the less likely they were to believe in God.
Meanwhile, 18% of men said they believe in God. And younger men were more likely to believe in God than older men.
Hanna Salomäki, Director of The Church Research Institute, noted, “There is a certain degree of strengthening in religiosity – and specifically in interest in Christianity – among young men. But we are not talking about any large scale. … But there is a smaller group who are clearly finding Christianity and committing themselves to it.”
Gender gap revealed in presidential election
CNN released exit poll data from the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
Vice President Kamala Harris led among women by eight percentage points. President-elect Donald Trump led among men by 13 points.
While Kamala led among young voters, Trump has gained ground with that demographic over the last three presidential elections. Even 40% of women under 30 voted for Trump.
Trump taps Senator Marco Rubio to be Secretary of State
On Wednesday, President-elect Donald Trump announced Republican Senator Marco Rubio of Florida is his pick for Secretary of State, reports NBC News.
Trump said, “He will be a strong advocate for our nation, a true friend to our allies, and a fearless warrior who will never back down to our adversaries. I look forward to working with Marco to make America, and the world, safe and great again.”
Trump nominates RFK Jr as Secretary of Health and Human Services
In a post on Truth Social, Trump announced that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would be his Secretary of Health and Human Services, reports LifeSiteNews.com.
He wrote, “For too long, Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies who have engaged in deception, misinformation, and disinformation when it comes to public health. The safety and health of all Americans is the most important role of any Administration, and HHS will play a big role in helping ensure that everybody will be protected from harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceutical products, and food additives that have contributed to the overwhelming health crisis in this country.
“Mr. Kennedy will restore these agencies to the traditions of gold standard scientific research, and beacons of transparency, to end the chronic disease epidemic, and to make America Great and Healthy Again!”
Kennedy, the nephew of the late President John F. Kennedy and the son of the late Attorney General Robert Kennedy, is a longtime environmental and medical activist. He initially attempted to challenge President Joe Biden for the Democratic nomination, switched to an independent bid against both Biden and Trump after months of accusing party leadership of having “rigged” the Democratic primary process against him, and ultimately dropped out and endorsed Trump in August.
Oklahoma Superintendent eager to respect religious liberty
On Tuesday, Oklahoma’s State Superintendent Ryan Walters announced the establishment of the Office of Religious Liberty and Patriotism at the State Department of Education.
The office will protect religious freedom for parents, teachers, and students. It will also investigate abuses to individual religious freedom.
Walters said, “The radical left never misses a chance to co-opt the teacher unions and their minions to indoctrinate our children against traditional values of faith and family, seeking to attack any display of faith or religion. … In Oklahoma, we are reversing this negative trend and, working with the incoming Trump administration, we are going to aggressively pursue education policies that will improve academic outcomes and give our children a better future.”
Psalm 78:1, 4 says, “Give ear, O My people, to My law; incline your ears to the words of My mouth. … We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.”
U.S. inflation up
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported inflation rose last month.
The consumer price index increased 0.2% on a monthly basis and 2.6% on a yearly basis. This was in line with Wall Street expectations.
While inflation is slightly up, it’s still significantly down from its 9% high in 2022.
Ellen Zentner, chief economic strategist at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, said, “No surprises from the [Consumer Price Index], so for now the Federal Reserve should be on course to cut rates again in December.”
Bible Society: Younger generations more lonely than older ones
And finally, the American Bible Society released the latest chapter of its State of the Bible USA report about loneliness.
The study found 21% of women experience a high degree of loneliness, while 17% of men experience the same. Younger generations are more lonely than older generations.
Only 11% of people who actively engage with Scripture report high loneliness compared to 22% of those who are disengaged with the Bible.
Similarly, the more people attend church, the less likely they are to report high loneliness.

Myanmar’s persecution of Christians
The military regime of Myanmar continues its persecution of Christians.
Authorities imposed new restrictions in the capital of Rakhine State. Churches cannot display crosses. They must also submit membership lists to police and get authorization to hold services.
One local Christian told the Myanmar Pressphoto Agency, “Last month, we installed a cross, a symbol of our faith, as a way to identify the Christian church here, but the police came and demanded it be removed. We prayed before putting it up, so we refused to take it down ourselves, and instead asked them to do it on their own.”
The southeast Asian nation is ranked 17th on the Open Doors’ World Watch List of countries where it most difficult to be a Christian.
Slovakia’s March for Life draws 40,000
This past September, nearly 40,000 people participated in the fourth March for Life in Slovakia, reports LifeSiteNews.
The slogan of the march in the Eastern European nation was “Love is pro-life.”
Jozef Miklosko, the country’s Commissioner for Children, addressed the crowd, saying it’s his job to stand up for children, born or unborn.
Abortion is currently legal up to 12 weeks of pregnancy. However, the abortion kill pill is not legal. Slovakia also voted to reject a resolution by the European Parliament to make abortion a so-called right.
Trump nominates Elon Musk & Vivek Ramaswamy to lead Dept. of Government Efficiency
In the United States, President-elect Donald Trump announced tech billionaire Elon Musk and conservative entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy will lead a new Department of Government Efficiency.
Trump said in a statement, “Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my administration to dismantle government bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure federal agencies.”
Musk said the department’s actions “will be posted online for maximum transparency. We will also have a leaderboard for [the] most insanely dumb spending of your tax dollars. This will be both extremely tragic and extremely entertaining.”
In 1 Timothy 2:1-2, the Apostle Paul wrote, “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.”
Trump picks Matt Gaetz as Attorney General
Trump also tapped Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz of Florida to be his Attorney General, reports CBS News.
Trump praised him as a "tenacious attorney" who will "end weaponized government, protect our borders, dismantle criminal organizations and restore Americans' badly shattered faith and confidence in the Justice Department."
Gaetz immediately resigned from Congress.
Trump picked Fox News host & veteran Pete Hegseth as Defense Secretary
President-elect Trump also surprised many by picking Pete Hegseth as his Secretary of Defense, reports Fox News.
Trump wrote, “Pete has spent his entire life as a warrior for the troops, and for the country. Pete is tough, smart, and a true believer in America First."
Hegseth, age 44, an Army National Guard veteran who served tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo Bay, has hosted the FOX Nation "Patriot Awards" since 2019, which is the network's version of a Hollywood awards show honoring heroes like first responders.
Take a look at the winners of the 2023 Patriot Awards through a special link in our transcript today at www.TheWorldview.com.
Court: Blue Cross to pay $12 million for firing over COVID shot
A former employee of Blue Cross Blue Shield won a $12 million settlement last Friday in a religious liberty case.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan fired Lisa Domski in 2021 after she sought a religious exemption for the COVID-19 shot. The insurance company denied her request, calling into question her objections as a Catholic.
Her attorney, Jon Marko, said, “Lisa refused to renounce her faith and beliefs and was wrongfully terminated from the only job she had ever known. The jury's verdict today tells [Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan] that religious discrimination has no place in America and affirms each person's right to religious freedom.”
Judge blocks Ten Commandments at schools
On Tuesday, a federal judge temporarily blocked a Louisiana law that requires public schools to display the Ten Commandments in classrooms.
U.S. District Judge John deGravelles ruled the law is “unconstitutional on its face.”
Louisiana’s Attorney General Liz Murrill said she would appeal to the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. She said, “This law, I believe, is constitutional . . . you don't have to like the posters. The point is you can make posters that comply with the Constitution.”
In Deuteronomy 6:6-9, God said, “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children … You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
Trump won 56% of the Christian vote
And finally, Dr. George Barna released a report on the Christian vote in this year’s presidential election.
The report found self-identified Christians made up 72% of the voters who turned out, and Trump won 56% of the Christian vote.
Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris won 60% of the non-Christian vote.
The study noted, “not only did most of President Trump’s votes come from Christians, but they gave him a 17-million-vote cushion over Mrs. Harris, which proved to be an insurmountable lead. The incumbent Vice President fared much better among people associated with non-Christian faiths and with no religious faith, but those segments represented too small a slice of the voting population to make her bid for the White House viable.”

Iranian prison releases pastor for hosting worship in his home
Praise God! Officials in Iran released an Armenian-Iranian pastor from prison, according to International Christian Concern.
Authorities imprisoned Pastor Anooshavan Avedian in September 2023 for having worship services in his house. They charged him with “establishing and leading an illegal group with the aim of disrupting the security of the country through educational and propaganda activities contrary to, and disturbing the holy religion of Islam, through the dissemination of false claims.”
Pastor Avedian faced 10 years in prison for his ministry. However, officials released him only a year into his sentence after public outcry.
Iran is ranked ninth on the Open Doors’ World Watch List of nations where it is most difficult to be a Christian.
Secular society: “Blasphemous” to claim gender change is impossible
The Evangelical Alliance of Northern Ireland took a closer look at the craziness of gender ideology recently, reports The Christian Post.
David Smyth with the Christian group warned the region’s Education Committee, “I do think we need to be careful not to create new secular blasphemies. Is it secular blasphemy to believe that a man cannot biologically become a woman?”
In light of the woke ideology that pervades all government-run schools, anyone who rejects biologically inaccurate pronouns or names is treated as a societal scoundrel.
Plus, such a politically correct worldview leads to both the marginalization of the Christian worldview as well as the use of age-inappropriate material.
Ireland’s bold March for Jesus that condemned abortion
Meanwhile in Ireland, Christians held the first-ever “March for Jesus” in Dublin last month, reports Christian Daily International.
The event celebrated the Christian heritage of the peoples of Ireland going back to missionary St. Patrick in the fifth century.
Participants sang and prayed, holding signs that read, “March for Jesus,” “Jesus is the Way,” and “Jesus is King.”
Pastor John Ahern of All Nations Church spoke the truth and prayed a powerful prayer.
AHERN: “God will not bless the shedding of innocent blood. God will not bless euthanasia. God will not bless the sexualization of children. God will not bless the erasure of women. And God will not bless churches that are so cowardly they refuse to call evil exactly what it is.
“And so, Father, we stand in the gap for this nation. We pray blessing over Ireland. We pray blessing over Northern Ireland, over Great Britain, Lord God, over Europe, and over the nations. And we pray, Lord God, in the name of Jesus, that as we come to the darkest time of the year, that we want to lift You up as the light of the world.
“And we pray that the Irish people are going to come back to You, to faith in You, to honoring You, to worshipping You, to declaring that You are Lord.”
Revelation 11:15 says, “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever.”
Christian counselor wants freedom to help people trapped in homosexuality
Alliance Defending Freedom is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to protect the free speech of a Christian counselor in Colorado.
Kaley Chiles is challenging a Colorado law that censors her from talking with clients about sexuality according to her faith.
Cody Barnett, legal counsel with Alliance Defending Freedom, said, “We are urging the Supreme Court to hear Kaley’s case . . . and stop Colorado officials from banning someone’s speech simply because they disagree with her beliefs. All Americans should be allowed to speak freely and seek the best possible help they desire.”
Trump selects Tom Homan to run border, Huckabee as ambassador to Israel
On Monday, President-elect Donald Trump announced that Tom Homan will be in charge of the U.S. border. Homan is the acting director of U.S. immigration and Customs Enforcement. He is known for a policy of zero-tolerance for illegal immigration, promising to “run the biggest deportation operation this country’s ever seen.”
Also on Monday, Trump announced Lee Zeldin will lead the Environmental Protection Agency. Zeldin previously served as a Republican in the U.S. House of Representatives for New York. His goal is to deregulate the business sector, encourage U.S. energy production, and bring back jobs from oversees.
Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, an ordained Baptist minister and TV host, is the choice to be the next U.S. ambassador to Israel in the incoming Trump administration, reports Fox News. Trump has promised to strengthen U.S. ties with Israel as it fights wars against Iran-backed terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah.
Future mothers stockpile Abortion Kill Pills
Demand for abortion drugs surged following the election of Donald Trump.
Aid Access facilitates mail-order Abortion Kill Pills. It reported a 16-fold increase in requests.
Other groups that provide contraceptives also reported huge increases in demand.
Isaiah 59:7 says, “Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood.”
Augustine of Hippo: The prodigal son who repented
And finally, this week marks the birth of Augustine of Hippo.
The renowned Christian theologian was born on November 13, A.D. 354 in what is modern-day Algeria, Africa.
Augustine’s early life was marred by prodigal living. His mother faithfully prayed for him for years before his eventual conversion in his 30s. This took place after he providentially came across Romans 13:13-14, which says, “Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in … drunkenness … and sensuality. … But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.”
Augustine would go on to become Bishop of Hippo, a Roman province in North Africa. An able scholar, he turned his mind to the theological battles of his day, producing Christian classics like Confessions and The City of God.
Augustine’s life and work would have a dominating influence on Western civilization. The Protestant Reformers, in particular, would quote him extensively in their efforts to reform the church over a thousand years later.

Brazilian homeschoolers growing despite opposition
The Brazilian homeschooling movement is growing despite opposition from the leftist government of that country.
Over the weekend, 3,000 homeschoolers gathered outside of Sao Paulo for a major conference and rallying point. Generations Radio and The Worldview supported the conference with speaking and resources.
Reports of government prosecution of homeschooling families are on the rise, with at least twenty cases presently on record. Pray for Christian families under this spiritual and political push back.
German government collapsed last week
Only hours after Trump’s announced election last week, the national government of Germany collapsed.
The multi-party based government was tenuous to begin with, but when Chancellor Olaf Scholz fired Finance Minister Christian Lindner, the government lost its majority in parliament.
The government has also lost support from the populace. According to a recent survey, only 3% of the people called the present government “good for Germany.”
Germany’s economy shrinks as families have fewer babies
Germany is the fourth largest economy in the world after the United States, the European Union, and China.
Interestingly, Germany was the only economy of the Group of 7 nations to shrink last year. Thus far this year, the country is barely holding onto a 0.1% annual Gross Domestic Product increase based on data from the first three quarters.
In addition, industrial production has been steadily decreasing since 2018. Germany’s working age population will decrease more than every other G7 nation over the next five years due to low birth rates.
Catholic Latino support for Trump doubled between ‘20 and ‘24
The Republicans gained more ground cultivating support from the Latino Catholic vote than any other major demographic in the 2024 presidential election.
Trump support among Catholic Latinos increased from 28% in 2020 to 53% in 2024 — almost double! Support from the Catholic demographic in general for the Donald Trump presidential bid actually increased from 47% to 58% between 2020 and 2024.
Republicans win U.S. House
According to Decision Desk HQ, the Republicans won control of the U.S. House with 219 seats over the Democrats with 210 seats.
218 seats are necessary for a majority.
Eric Metaxas: Pastors don’t understand the times
Pastor John Piper sparked a little controversy among Christian websites when he commented on the presidential election, noting that “[God] having delivered us from one evil, [He] now tests us with another.”
The pastor referenced Deuteronomy 13:3, not to listen “to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For the LORD your God is testing you, to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.”
Citing 1 Chronicles 12:32, Christian commentator Eric Metaxas responded by saying, “Shame on these pastors for not being Sons of Issachar, but rather modern day Pharisees and Sadducees, not knowing Truth from a lie. Lord, deliver us from them.”
Evangelical theologians discuss presidential election, pro-life movement
Carl Trueman wrote that he “would be horrified if my children behaved as either of our two serious presidential candidates routinely do. The choice is a grim, but unavoidable one. ... Vote against the candidate who will do the most damage by policy.”
And Albert Mohler, president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, opined that “the pro-life movement in the United States is in big, big trouble” based on recent losses at the ballot box.
But he also said, “I’m thankful for the clarity that the American people achieved for the Republic. I think the choice, in this case, (for President) was also healthy for the Republic.”
Trump appointed Rep. Elise Stefanik as Ambassador to United Nations
President-elect Trump has appointed GOP Congresswoman Elise Stefanik of New York as the next Ambassador to the United Nations, reports ABC News. Stefanik has a 48% conservative voting record on Liberty Score. That compares to Rand Paul’s 93% on the same rating.
Stefanik voted to codify same-sex mirage into federal law back in 2022, and was in favor of the female draft in 2021.
Federal Reserve cut reserve rate again
The U.S. Federal Reserve Board voted to cut the reserve rate by another 25 basis points late last week. That follows a 50 basis point cut in September.
The rate was just about 0% in January of 2022, at which point the Fed began increasing the rate all the way up to 5.33%.
Trump election impacting market
And finally, cryptocurrency prices shot up after the Trump election last week.
Bitcoin is scraping $88,000.
Gold dropped slightly from the $2,740 per ounce to the $2,670-per-ounce range.
And the Dow Jones Industrial Average and Nasdaq stock indexes bumped up about 5% since the election.

Hundreds of Hindus attacked 14 Christians in India
As police officers watched in India, hundreds of Hindus attacked 14 Christians on October 30 in Chhattisgarh, after the believers defied orders to abandon their Christian faith and harvested crops from a communal farm, reports International Christian Concern.
Several of the Christians, including two women, were beaten with wooden rods and suffered head trauma and broken bones. The mob also demolished the believers’ homes, destroyed the crops they had harvested, and injured a police officer who had tried to help.
Nagesh Micha, a Christian rights activist, said, “The police, which are supposed to uphold the fundamental rights of an individual, have allowed 14 people to be beaten in their presence. This means there are higher authorities who are supporting the mobs.”
According to Open Doors, India is the 11th most dangerous country worldwide in which to be a Christian.
Trump flipped Nevada and Arizona
While Donald Trump was declared the presidential victor over Kamala Harris, the vote counting continued.
Last Friday, Trump flipped Nevada 50.6%-47.4%, reports The Epoch Times.
And on Saturday night, Trump was declared the victor in Arizona, 52.6%-46.4%. Remarkably, that means Trump has now won all seven of the swing states.
Trump earned 312 electoral votes to Kamala’s 226. To win, 270 electoral votes were needed.
U.S. House: GOP has 213 vs Dems at 202
And, in the U.S. House of Representatives, the Republicans have won 213 seats compared to the 202 seats won by the Democrats.
Outstanding races where ballots are still being counted are located in Arizona, Alaska, California, Iowa, Louisiana, Oregon, and Washington State.
The party with 218 seats gets the majority.
Trump selects first-ever female Chief of Staff
President-elect Donald Trump chose Susie Wiles, the co-chair of his presidential campaign, to serve as his chief of staff, reports Fox News.
She will be the first woman ever to serve in that role.
Franklin Graham urges Trump to seek God daily
Evangelist Franklin Graham tweeted, “Congratulations to Donald Trump on being elected the 47th president of the United States of America! I pray that you will look to God every day for His guidance and wisdom.”
On the Billy Hallowell CBN podcast, Graham added these cautionary words.
GRAHAM: “Our country, I believe, is doomed unless we repent of our sins and call upon the name of Almighty God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
“The entertainment industry, they're normalizing sin. It's in every program you watch on TV. They try to make sin normal. It has a dulling effect, I believe, on us spiritually. It takes the sharp edge off of us, and we just begin to kind of become ‘ho hum’ about it. We should be shocked. We should be embarrassed.
“We should never accept it within the church. Unfortunately, many churches have accepted sin.”
3 things Christian should do in wake of Trump’s victory
In the wake of Trump’s re-election, Pastor Josh Howerton tweeted three things that Christians should do.
First, “Give thanks. Our nation was given an undeserved mercy. It is a window for repentance. No Christian anywhere should’ve supported the policy platform that was mercifully defeated and saying that should never have been controversial. In fact, it should prompt deep reflection about what happened to the U.S. church…. It is not wrong to celebrate and give thanks today for being spared from something our rebellious nation deserved … ‘When wicked things perish, there are shouts of joy’ — Proverbs 11:10”
Second, “Pray. Not only because we are commanded to pray for our governing leaders in 1 Timothy 2:1, but because of the situation. We elected Jehu, a flawed leader who defeated a greater evil, not Josiah, a righteous leader who led national revival, and that comes with risks.
“The command to “trust not in princes” (Psalm 146:3) means there is Someone 10 trillion times greater than a President and something 10 billion times greater than an election that we should ache and hunger for — an outpouring of the Spirit in our generation.”
Third, “Hurl yourself into the purposes of God in our generation. … Judeo-Christian values can keep a nation out of chaos, but they cannot keep a person out of Hell. Only the blood of Jesus Christ can do that.”
Former DNC official: Biden should resign & appoint Kamala president
Jamal Simmons, a former deputy director of communications for the Democratic National Committee, proposed an idea so wild that even the CNN panel he was taking part in seemed skeptical, reports Red State.
SIMMONS: “Joe Biden has been a phenomenal president. He's lived up to so many of the promises he's made. There’s one promise left that he could fulfill, being a transitional figure.
“He could resign the presidency in the next 30 days, make Kamala Harris the president United States.”
CNN CONSERVATIVE CONTRIBUTOR SCOTT JENNINGS: “Woah!”
SIMMONS: “He would absolve …”
DANA BASH: “Wow!”
SIMMONS: “…her from having to oversee the January 6 transition of her own defeat. And it would dominate the news at a point where Democrats have to learn drama and transparency and doing things that the public wants to see. This is the moment for us to change the entire perspective of how Democrats operate.”
BASH: “This has now jumped from an internet meme to a Sunday morning show.”
If Biden resigned and appointed Kamala as president, this would indeed dominate the news. The message sent would be that the Democrats treated the presidency like a participation trophy.
No doubt, if President Biden were to take this foolish suggestion seriously, he would both sully what’s left of his reputation and simultaneously cement the Republican hold on the White House for decades to come.
Big snowstorm hit Colorado
(“Let it snow” song)
God sent a whole lot of snow into Colorado, reports the Denver Gazette.
Not only did Denver receive 8 inches and Colorado Springs got 14 inches, but Evergreen got 18 inches of the white stuff and La Veta Pass was buried in 37 inches of snow.
Deep sleep boosts brain health, reduces memory problems
And finally, deep sleep could be the key to forestalling slow declines in brain health that may one day lead to Alzheimer's disease, the most common form of dementia, reports Science Alert.
Matthew Walker, a neuroscientist at the University of California Berkeley, said, "Think of deep sleep almost like a life raft that keeps memory afloat, rather than memory getting dragged down by the weight of Alzheimer's disease pathology. This is especially exciting because we can do something about it. There are ways we can improve sleep, even in older adults."
Want some more deep sleep yourself?.
Cut out coffee late in the day. Get exercise. Then, right before bed, avoid screen time, and take a hot shower.
