There is no greater love in all the universe than when Jesus says to you, "Follow Me." If you quiet your spirit and listen closely, you may just hear Jesus speak those same magnificent words to you.

Is their good reason Jesus kept those wounds visible? Yes! Among other things, His wounds will forever remind us that our restoration to God came at an enormous cost. And what's behind paying such a price to make us His? One word: LOVE!

In the Garden of Eden, the Serpent tempted the First Couple to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. When they succumbed to that temptation, sin entered the world.

Who am I that he would pray not my will, but thine lord? That to an old rugged cross he'd go, for who am I?

The New Covenant would be established by God's Son, who walked in perfect, unbroken obedience and fellowship with God the Father.

The question is, have you acknowledged that He has died for your sins? Have you placed faith in Him who alone atones and cleanses? There is an implicit invitation here for you to receive Christ and it comes from Him personally.

"For God in all His fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through Him God reconciled everything to Himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross."

Anyone who has gone on a trip with children or grandchildren has heard the question asked, "Are we there yet?". Since the time Jesus ascended, Christians have been pondering His return similarly, "Are we there yet?"

"What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus."

The prophet Malachi was called by God to confront those post-exile Jews who had become complacent in their attitudes and worship. They followed a form of religion, but they were apathetic and the practice of their faith had become half-hearted at best.
