It feels like there are so many changes taking place in our
society, there are times it is just overwhelming. Because of technology we reach
more people but talk less. Intimacy is replaced with a smiley face on a text. Everything
is on an “App”. It seems that personal
relationships lose the nuances of affection in a text. Although it does help us communicate more
often with many people
Lately, I have felt there is also a cycle of 24-7 negativity,
almost an assault on our values. Conflicts seem to loom at every turn.
This week’s show is focused on how to be responsible for
your own happiness. We also look at the intricate value of a grandma and
grandpa with old-fashioned values and the way they are so important in helping
you laugh when everyone else is throwing stones. .
I believe the greatest power a person has is to choose
happiness and gratitude. I love the this
quote from Asma Naqui: “Happiness in
your heart is directly proportional to the quality of thoughts in your
mind”.
