Join the bedding drive with Million Kids- either donate or
help us shop!
Subscribe to MillionKids MissingKids at Millionkids.org
Support foster families in your church or social
organization
Purchase sporting outfits or dance outfits for foster kids
-as directed by the foster parent.
Help the foster parent throw a big birthday bash for their
foster child.
Decorate an apartment for a transitioning foster teen.
Help a transitioning foster teen get a job or apply for a
scholarship.
Provide scholarships for a foster child.
Foster Kids are one of the most vulnerable
populations for trafficking or online exploitation. This program is one way to make life easier for them.
Last year, Million Kids supporters donated cash
for bedding for foster kids and it was a raging success. We want to out- do ourselves this year. With each $50.00
donation, each child will receive a very special twin comforter, matching sheets, a decorator item and an “I
believe in You” challenge coin. That will be sure to bring a smile. Please consider donating or helping us shop

THE FIRST NIGHT IN FOSTER CARE IS REALLY SCARY. THESE COMFORTERS WILL HELP THEM

According to several human trafficking experts,
more than 50% of youth in sex trafficking came from the foster care system. According to Childrens Law
Center, on any given day there are nearly 437,000 children in foster care and approximately 60,000 foster children in California.
Childrens without family support are easy prey
for sex traffickers. Foster kids often feel detached and have a hard time feeling as if someone really cares about
them or that they are “special”. At the same time, they are losing connection with their family, they also lose
material goodies that makes them feel successful.
While we may not be able to change their life
circumstances, Million Kids feels that making a child feel valuable and recognized is one of the keys to helping them navigate the challenges of their lives. That is why we conduct the “Foster Child bedding program each year”.
A $50 or $75.00 donation allows us to shop and buy really, really “cool” stuff. Each child will receive a Twin (or Twin XL) decorator comforter with complimentary sheets and a unique and very special decorator item.
