The main theme this week before the pod descended into absolute mayhem was actually football sticker albums!
That wasn't the only thing we spoke about, we of course touched on some major European football stories; FC Thun, Gornik Zabrze among others and of course it all led to just one place: Gary Johnson's football career, where else?
Join Millsy and Mason, dear Hootenanners, for another episode of them talking utter nonsense to keep you occupied for most of an hour, enjoy!
Millsy and Mason are back with another one of their favourite types of episode, an interview with a bona-fide footballing personality.
This time, we had the absolute pleasure of talking to Søren Højlund Carlsen, Senior Content Creator for the current leading Danish Superliga team, AGF Aarhus.
A passionate all-round football fan and even more passionate AGF Aarhus fan at heart, Søren takes us through the history of the club, both old and recent.
He explains to us his own personal experience following the club and what his hopes and dreams are; both for the next few weeks (don't jinx it, Mason) and indeed for the next few years.
This episode was a true delight and we hope you will enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed interviewing an absolute gentleman!
Millsy and Mason have decided to bring back an old pod favourite - the one and only Chizzle!
The lads of course discuss all of football's current biggest subjects:
- AFC Bournemouth derailing Arsenal's title bid
- What biscuit selection does Eddie Howe have?
- Does Yellow Buses, former AFC Bournemouth sponsor still exist?!
Stay tuned right until the end to hear the first edition of Chizzle's new regular guest feature, Chizzle's tat, because it is a doozy!
Sit back, relax and get on board with the boys casually settling the most huge debates football has to offer (unless you are listening to this whilst driving, then please focus)
After four long years... absolutely no public demand… and one questionable night out that nobody fully remembers - Millsy and Mason are BACK.
That’s right. Like a dodgy transfer that somehow gets approved at the last minute, the Football Hootenanny has returned.
Expect bold takes, bad predictions, and the kind of analysis you can only get from two blokes who definitely should’ve gone home earlier.
So crack open a drink, lower your expectations, and welcome back to the beautifully unnecessary chaos… Lads! Lads! Lads! Lads!
This is Millsy and Mason’s Football Hootenanny.
Prepare to be serenaded...this week the Hootenanny gets back to its roots...No guests, no interviews, no quizzes, just Milly and Mason talking rubbish. We take you on a whistle stop football tour, covering the Premier League's COVID problem, this week’s controversial Arsenal vs West Ham red card, the breaking news on the Nations League and a rather unusual football story from the history books, lovers of the Caribbean Cup, this one is for you.

With the recent news of Ole being fired from Manchester United, the Hootenanny invited UsmaanTalksUnited onto the show. We also had a former guest posing questions to the lads to discuss Ole leaving, the season in general, and who the next manager should be. We also discuss what players do not deserve to be wearing the shirt anymore, and which transfers we would go back in time to sabotage.

We sit down with beach football star and women’s football icon Gemma Hillier. Gemma played for Portsmouth for 17 seasons, after a debut at 13 years old, she won 11 cups and 2 leagues, and was inducted into the Portsmouth FC Hall of Fame. If that wasn't enough, she represents England and Team GB in beach soccer! She has lifted international trophies and golden boot awards, so of course we need to ask her about sand injuries, destroying sandcastles, and other tricks of the beach trade.

On the day that Stevie G was announced as the new manager of Aston Villa, we spoke to Nick from AVillaFan.com to discuss what this means for the club. We also discuss how the season has gone so far and how the club in general fared under Dean Smith. Nick is not only a contributor to AVillaFan.com, but has a seat on the Aston Villa Fan Group Committee. We also feature the last episode of Anorak vs Anorak.

With the huge news in the footballing world of Newcastle United being taken over by the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund, we invited Olly Hawkins from NUFCBlog.co.uk to talk managers, transfers, and hopes and dreams for the club. We give away CASH to our hearers in Mason’s Money Maker, and we manage to fit in another episode of Anorak vs Anorak where the two anoraks rebel against the host for a question which wasn’t fitting of the challenge…

After Millsy made a bold claim this week that Arsenal would not finish in the top half, Mason organized an opponent and takes the umpire role in this big debate whether they will in fact finish top or bottom half of the Premier League. Mason’s Money Maker makes a welcome return as we can give away CASH to our listeners and participants in the PerfectPicks league. And we manage to fit in another episode of Anorak vs Anorak where skullduggery occurs…
