Amelia Goldsmith also known as Milly G Fit on socials is a content creator in the fitness space that talks a lot about her journey of recovery from an eating disorder.
Milly experienced disordered eating and suffered with anorexia for 8 years, she is now a happier and healthier version of herself and shares her story across her social platforms to inspire others going through the same thing that there is a way out of having a difficult relationship with your body and with food.
In this episode we dive into Milly’s journey of recovery and how she has got to a point of freedom with food but also how her eating disorder started through something she saw in the media which just goes to show how scary and powerful social media and the media can be.
So many of us have difficult relationships with food and our bodies so I thought that it was really important to have someone like Milly on who can talk about the pressures we feel when it comes to how we look and also someone who lives for accepting her body for what it is. She’s super relatable and someone that I really hope you will take a lot away from.
I asked Milly a ton of questions about how she manages to be consistent with food and the gym, how she has managed to build a healthy relationship with her body and how she’s actually achieved overcoming an eating disorder in real terms.
