I could have finished business school and worked for someone else for $1500/month while learning from them. Instead, I chose to become an entrepreneur and continue learning on my own. Yes, it was hard, I made mistakes and lived with uncertainty, but I have no regrets. Ask yourself what pain are you willing to go through to get the lifestyle you want?

If you want to scale your business, you must be willing to invest in it. You don’t need to figure everything out on your own; you just need to hire the right people to help you. You also need to commit to lifelong learning and investing in your ongoing personal development. How do you expect other people to invest in you if you’re not willing to invest in yourself?

When you’re caught up in the trenches, it’s hard to slow down enough to analyze what might be going wrong. That’s precisely when you must step back, identify what you need to do, digest and then execute.

If you can quit later, why quit now? Sometimes you need to give your best shot even without much chance of success in order to learn your true capabilities and limitations. Pushing hard without seeing progress is difficult, but overcoming tough times is when you thrive and grow the most.
