Greetings! I am pleased to share an overview about a recent book I have finished reading - Anatomy of the State by Murray N. Rothbard. Although this book was published in 1973, the content and messages are more relevant to today's world than ever before. Murray examines the state of our government and begins breaking down various systems of function. His analytical deep dive into each areas of systematic exploitation was eye opening at the very least... This book is a must read for those who carry a skeptical eye towards our government and those in power. Being only 60 pages long, this book contains a substantial amount of knowledge and should leave any reader walking away with a much deeper, clearer understanding of the systems at be. Merry Christmas! Here in Wisconsin, we are in the midst of a harsh blizzard that is seemingly right on schedule! Luckily for us, we were able to have our family's Christmas celebration before the big storm rolled in. Our last few days have been spent comfortably on the couch and out of the freezing winds. Being snowed-in has been a blessing in disguise; we've had the opportunity to kick back and enjoy the extra family time. I wanted to take some time with today's episode and appreciate some of the aspects of Christmas that make this holiday so special. We have a lot to be thankful for this year. Good morning! Welcome back for another, Footprints and Photographs. Today marks the end of Red Velvet Photography's 2022 season. It has been a hell of a year, so we wanted to share our last set of adventures over the month of December. This winter has been an interesting one for Wisconsin, we've hit some temperamental weather patches. With that said, Wisconsin is officially covered in snow and it is definitely here to stay for the remainder of the season. We had some great hikes and adventures together, regardless of the conditions. Hey gang! Today’s episode covers our most recent trip to Harrington Beach State Park. This was our second time returning to this location, it is a new favorite on our list. All three of us (Kristin, Kylle, me) we’re along for this occasion; it’s always nice to have the whole team shooting together! Regardless of it being December in Wisconsin, the weather was abnormally warm and unquestionably cooperative. We were happy with the photographs we walked away with but slightly disappointed with the amount of time we ended up having. Hello everyone! Welcome back for more, Footprints and Photographs. It has been a loooonnnnggg minute since I’ve posted a show segment like this, I’m glad to be back at it! Today’s podcast and Exposure page are the most sentimental pieces of work I’ve ever done. This month has been a difficult period for myself and my family, but our days are looking better one at a time! We continuously move forward and grow from these experiences; that’s what’s truly important. It has been enlightening for Kristin and I to engage in traveling and photography again. Our passions fulfill our lives beyond belief; we didn’t truly realize that until they were taken away. Now that we are back, we have returned with a new appreciation, determination, and love for our crafts. Thank you for tuning in to today’s episode!
