A tribute to Tonkie and I’s 4-year wedding anniversary! ❤️💍❤️

Today is the day I started my fourth book - Red Velvet Photography: One Shutter at a Time.

Folks, let’s strap in for the last segment of Footprints and Photographs of 2024. It's crazy to consider how fast 2024 has reached its end! The year really flew by, and unfortunately, photography often took the backseat when life got busy. It was our slowest year for photography, but that's okay! We still managed to pull off 26 Exposure pages.

We wanted to go out with a bang, so RVP got together for one more photoshoot/hike. Tonkie picked a couple of great spots, which happen to be some of our personal favorites: South Woods and Riggs County Park in Ripon! We were all set to say goodbye to 2024 the right way; all three of us needed that. It had been so long since we'd been able to get out and about together, and at times it seemed damn near impossible to align schedules, but this day was far too important to miss. That's for one simple reason: it was the day of our Red Velvet Photography Company Christmas Party!

The RVP Company Christmas Party was an annual tradition that began in December 2022. To celebrate a successful year of traveling and photography, we get together to honor the adventures we’ve taken and all of the hard work we’ve put into our photos/Exposure site. Our celebration serves as a moment to appreciate the journey we've experienced together! So, this year's celebration and the purpose behind it was no different than last year's, nor will they be any different in the years to come.

I'd like to thank Kylle and Tonkie for such an amazing year together! I am absolutely in awe of what we have built together and look forward to continue building upon this foundation. I couldn't be more thankful to have both of you by my side, but I will keep trying. What we have is worth more than gold; I see it, I feel it, and I believe in it. I love you both!

Ohhhhhh shiiiiiiit, it’s one of the final Footprints and Photographs of the year. It’s always a bittersweet feeling as we wrap up the year and prepare for what’s ahead. But before we do that, we like to reflect on our entire year. Reflection is important for us. It serves as a time to appreciate the hard work we’ve put into our Exposure pages and to honor our journey together.

I’m so proud and fulfilled to be a part of Red Velvet Photography. This team has changed my life for the better; there’s no question about that. I’m grateful to have Kylle and Tonkie by my side throughout the years, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what comes our way. We will be ready with cameras in our hands and pens to jot down that which can’t be missed. Documenting our lives has been my greatest achievement—something I continue to strive towards improving and building upon as time goes on. So, we will see where it all goes! It’s exhilarating to consider the possibilities that lie ahead.

To Tonkie and Kylle, thank you so goddamn much for your involvement in Red Velvet Photography. It is truly inspiring to see the passion and effort you put into your photos! You guys have done some great work, and it only goes up from here. Again, thank you guys. I love you both with all my heart.
