The miniseries When They See Us by Ava Duvernay has us once again achieving another level of "wokeness" about details that are oftentimes hidden about injustices. This episode inspired me to explore the process of displacement and gentrification, specifically the black neighborhood that was uprooted by the creation of Central Park.
