Welcome to another episode of Mind the Headspace! Bringing you the best in the more eclectic and cerebral side of electronic (dance) music from Dallas area DJs and producers. This time around we have a very special live recording from Dallas area DJ, Dar. This is a live recording of Dar's set opening up for Lapalux at Flowmoon on 12/6/18. This mix is a laidback, psychedelia tinged blend of trip-hop, glitch and left field bass music. As always be sure to like, comment (in itunes please!), SUBSCRIBE, download, and always, enjoy!

Welcome to another episode of Mind the Headspace! Bringing you the best in the more eclectic and cerebral side of electronic (dance) music from Dallas area DJs and producers. This month we have something a little bit different than our usual programming. This is a mix I created for an art installation with my good friend Tyler at Myschievia 2018. Its a collection of spaced out, dreamy, and otherworldly tracks with some minimal and understated mixing between songs. Great to kick back and space out to. Welcome to another episode of Mind the Headspace! Bringing you the best in the more eclectic and cerebral side of electronic (dance) music from Dallas area DJs and producers. This time around we have a wonderful mix courtesy of Dallas based DJ, KT Mills! when asked to describe her mix, she said "As evidenced in this mix, I gravitate pretty strongly toward industrial and EBM inspired sounds — EBM to me is the perfect halfway point between dark electronic pop and total industrial madness. When you throw in those repetitive techno loops, it becomes a mesmerizing journey of restrained aggression that can help us fight through the mental structures that keep us bound." Glad to have some more EBM oriented sets on the podcast finally. As always be sure to like, comment (in itunes please!), SUBSCRIBE, download, and always, enjoy!

Bringing you the best in the more eclectic and cerebral side of electronic (dance) music from Dallas area DJs and producers. This time around we have a fantastic mix courtesy of Dallas based production duo Patch Notes (Adam Jilek and Ren Petroff). This is a mix of dark, brooding techno that eventually gives way to aggressive and hard hitting drum & bass. Plenty of great tunes on this one, including 3 Patch Notes originals and 2 remixes! Bringing you the best in the more eclectic and cerebral side of electronic (dance) music from Dallas area DJs and producers. We have another mix from a guest outside of the DFW, this time courtesy of Yin Yang Audio AKA Jerry Davalos! He describes this mix as "the beginning of my journey into Techno. My work does not normally abide by the typical four to the floor presented in the techno genre but rather makes its way to more dark and aggressive complex patterns."This is definitely a quality mix of 100% original material. Bringing you the best in the more eclectic and cerebral side of electronic (dance) music from Dallas area DJs and producers. This month we have a mix from former DFW resident, Tempr (Erin Long)! She describes this mix as "A play on how fleeting happiness can be in the fight between anxiety and depression. Yet, the realization that when it all comes together your body will move and your mind with it. If you've ever felt alone, insecure or vulnerable and managed to overcome it, then shake your bits to this, because we're all in this together; just like the music." I really enjoyed this mix and i hope you do to!

As promised this latest mix is my most recent recording after having not released any for quite awhile. This is more or less the set that i played at my Two:Tone debut back in January! Lots of deep but still hard drum & bass, jungle, and even some juke! I'm very pleased with how this turned out.
