The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce will  open its new headquarters at Greenway Commons in Boone later this fall. Over the next several weeks, the Chamber will share the story of the conversations, partnerships, and member interactions that helped transform the idea of what "space" means to the organization. This series is simply called, The Road Home, and will include numerous details about the concept behind our move and the people that helped along the way.

On this week's Mind Your Business, we bring you the first of those formative conversations in a section we call Finding our Why. The journey to finding a new home began back in May 2021 in the Clawson-Burnley Park Gazebo. Our staff met with Dr. Jim Street of Ridgeline Leadership to discuss the Chamber's Strategic Framework, and how the organization could re-imagine its use of space to better serve its membership in the wake of COVID-19.
