Supporting the workforce behind the workforce is an essential step to ensure businesses can meet their labor goals. Without the work of The Children's Council of Watauga County, we would see many more families overwhelmed by lack of childcare options, making the next paycheck that much harder to find.

On this week's installment of Mind Your Business, we hear from Executive Director Elisha Childers and Tara Stollenmaier, Fundraising and Outreach Director of The Children's Council of Watauga County. We'll get an update on the organization's current scope of work, which includes some pilot programs that are garnering national attention. We'll also get the details on the organization's 45th Anniversary Celebration, which will help continue to fuel the effort of supporting young children and families in the High Country.
