Dr. Mary Elizabeth speaks with Dr. Stephen Marini, a chiropractor and international lecturer, and serves on the boards of the ICPA, HPA and Intergrative Health Policy Consortium (IHPC). Dr. Marini was educated in basic science and medicine at Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia where he received a M.S. in Microbiology and Immunology in 1976. Doctoral studies followed at the University of Pennsylvania and Pacific Western University where he conducted dissertation research on avian tumor viruses accomplished at the Wistar Institute in Philadelphia. He received his Ph.D. in Microbiology in 1989. Dr. Marini received vitalistic training and professional development at the Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic where he received his D.C. in 1988. He received the Diplomate in Chiropractic Pediatrics from the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice in 2007. He served as professor of Microbiology at the Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic from 1980 until 1995, and as Academic Dean from 1990-1993.

As a vitalist trained in classical science and conventional medicine, Dr. Marini appreciates the role of energy/information on an individual’s health and healing processes. He recognizes the need for a complementary, patient-centered approach to healing and health care options. Dr. Marini incorporates this knowledge and belief into his teaching of psychoneuroimmunology as well as his practice of chiropractic. He currently practices chiropractic with his son Dr. Nicholas in King of Prussia and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and lectures internationally on psychoneuroimmunology and vaccination issues.

Rose Marie Pierce, Canada's first holistic pharmacist, shares from her over 40 years of experience in both conventional and natural medicine.  

RoseMarie Pierce, B.Sc. Pharm, is the owner of Pharmacy-Alternatives Corporation, a consulting firm specializing in natural health product research and development, and formulation. In 1972, she earned her Pharmacy degree from Dalhousie University, Halifax. While at university, she partook in the “Opportunities for Youth” program, managing the dispensary for the Storefront Health clinic located in the under-privileged area of Halifax. In the early part of her career, she taught prescription compounding to 4th year pharmacy students at The College of Pharmacy, Dalhousie University. RoseMarie studied Herbology for a number of years with Clinical herbalist Terry Willard, Ph.D. at Wild Rose College. Following extensive studies in herbology and nutritional medicine, RoseMarie integrated these disciplines into her pharmacy practice to become one of Canada’s first holistic pharmacists. She is widely recognized in Canada as a well-loved integrated health spokesperson, media personality and writer. 

Throughout her career, RoseMarie has researched and formulated natural medicines, and lectured across Canada on holistic health with an emphasis on women’s hormonal health, digestive issues, cognitive and ocular wellness, inflammation, immunity, pH balance, as well as drug-nutrient depletions. RoseMarie has a natural ability to present technical information in an easy-to-understand format and acts as a catalyst for individuals who wish to improve their health, enjoy vitality and realize their potential. 

RoseMarie is on the faculty (as a visiting Professor) of Pacific Rim College, an award-winning institution specializing in Holistic Medicine and Sustainable Living. She has presented two weekend workshops as part of the Diploma of Holistic Nutrition program and now has her first online course on Drug–Nutrient Depletions and Drug–Food–Herb–Nutrient Interactions, debuting Fall 2020.

Dr. Betty Martini is the founder of the worldwide volunteer force, Mission Possible World Health International, which is committed to removing aspartame from our food supply. She has an honorary Doctor of Humanities degree for the work she has done. She has 22 years of experience in the medical field. In 1970 Dr. Martini established a model for the nation by creating Physicians on Call, a network of five Emergency Care clinics in Atlanta, Georgia staffed with medical doctors 7 days/24 hours. Services were without cost to the indigent. She speaks frequently on nationwide radio hookups for talk programs throughout the country and the world.  The medical text, "Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic", by H. J. Roberts, M.D., is dedicated to her.  She is on the Advisory Board of the American Anti-Cancer Institute, and is the in-house aspartame specialist for the National Health Federation.  Because of her the "Just Like Sugar" company made a safe sweetener without chemicals, although she has no financial association.

Dr. Palevsky is a NYS licensed pediatrician, who utilizes a holistic approach to children’s wellness and illness. Dr. Palevsky received his medical degree from the NYU School of Medicine in 1987, completed a three-year pediatric residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC in 1990, and served as a pediatric fellow in the ambulatory care out-patient department at Bellevue Hospital, NYC, from 1990-1991. He received his pediatric board certification in 1990, and passed his pediatric board recertification exams in 1997, 2004, and 2011.

Dr. Stephanie Seneff is a Senior Research Scientist at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.
