NFL season is back, baby!  Which, is sadly, not discussed in the pod, however, if you pay attention closely, you'll hear a theme (ahem, listen to all of Ian's brilliantly creative song). 
Recapping their week which includes a networking event or two, a California state-wide emergency about overheating the grid, and an Uno championship, the duo jump right into... well, they tangent a bit, but after that, they jump right into discussions about current television.  Perfect timing - EMMY's (show us the fashion) - we're talking Stranger Things, Only Murders In The Building, Westworld, Severance, Ted Lasso, and The Afterparty... it's truly a must-listen.  A must - until the end... the song... you remember.

The not-at-all-awaited hiatus has finally arrived!
 
The 'No ID - Why It Matters' podcast (which is the name you'll ultimately see on the cover art along with a sick photo that hasn't yet been taken) features THE Ian T. Segears - military, 8 years, and THE Devon Herrera - behavioral health, 10 years - as they navigate the trials and tribulations of life in Los Angeles, as well as life in their minds  (sick line) - I'm going to end this sentence now.
 
Ian and Devon (as if I'm not writing this) have now both departed from their long-lived jobs and are trying to listen to that inner voice calling them to a greater purpose, though often failing forward (mostly).  

These enlightened chats happen on the magic couch (yeah it sounds weird, I hear it) and with their desire to create burning fiercer by the day, they thought it would be a crime for our 5 listeners not to hear it... at the very least, it's a diary for our future selves and that's just fun. 

Enjoy - and please listen past the first episode... we get funnier... hopefully.

With the first episode since Devon's move to LA, the podcast has a title change, which was a decision made very mindfully.  Eh, tried to smoothly slip it in there... (don't say the joke... don't say it)
In the return, Devon enlists the illustrious voice of one Ian Taylor Segears, to discuss who they're squadding up with for the zombie apocalypse, but not before providing their thoughts on virtual restaurants, which is sprinkled with the ever-pleasant unwrappings of a big-ass breakfast burrito.

**NOTE** we filmed this episode, and the camera died after 30 minutes, at which point the phone was utilized.  As such, you'll be jumping in mid-conversation around minute... well, you'll just have to see.  

Honestly, the episode title could include so many different points; Devon sat down with Vai Patri (not even going to try and spell out all six of her given names) to talk about her experience growing up as a young Indian girl and how much it differs from the standard American 'way.'  They also discuss the stigma associated with a sexually transmitted disease and how that weighed heavily on Vai, along with additional stressors that came with her attempts to raise awareness. The conversation flowed naturally into education, mental health, self-advocacy, inner growth, and so much more.
