I've got to be honest with you, this week I really struggled. I struggled with motivation, I was tired all the time and I really felt like I wasn't achieving anything. It was causing me to feel depressed and anxious and just not feeling like myself. Even though sometimes you may feel as if from the outside those that you follow have it all together, I want to let you know that none of us do. None of us have it all together all the time, and that's totally okay.
So after a few days of feeling uneasy, I really acknowledged that I needed to stop and just breathe. Just to be still.
You'd know by now if you've been following the podcast for awhile that I am a firm believer in the power of meditation, but this technique I'm sharing with you today isn't even as far as meditation. It's literally just focusing on your breath, being mindful of your surroundings and emotions, and bringing yourself back to a state of calm and presence.
Let me guide you through the simple breathing technique that I use to calm my thoughts and my body when I'm feeling anxious and overwhelmed and I hope this helps you too.
