This episode The Treasure Hunt of Positivity is all about gently resetting your mind and helping you notice the good stuff around you. It's a reminder that while life can get busy, there's always some hidden treasure waiting to be found.

What’s Inside:

• Calming & Refreshing: This episode offers a gentle, calming experience that helps train your brain to focus on the positive. It’s not about ignoring the tough times, but about finding the good amidst it all, something many of us need help with.
• Yoga Nidra: Dive into the relaxing practice of Yoga Nidra, known for its amazing ability to calm the mind and boost energy. It's like a quick recharge for both kids and grown-ups, perfect for those busy days, also helping restore sleep deficits. 
• A Family Favourite: This MindGem was a big hit with my kids and their friends. It's become the go-to when things feel a bit off, helping young ones build self-awareness. I’ve uploaded the original test audio in its authentic form as it was so well received. 
• Spotting Daily Gems: Embrace the power of gratitude by finding the little GEMS in your day. It’s a reminder that there’s always something to appreciate if we take a moment to look.

What you’ll need:

• Quiet Space: find a quiet room where you won't be disturbed.  Using headphones can be helpful, but equally fine with a speaker. 
• Comfortable Place: on your bed, couch or beanbag, maybe with low pillow under your head and one under your knees can make it extra nice. Cover with blanket and have your favourite toy with you if you like. 
• Lie Still: there is no need to do anything once the audio starts except follow along to my voice in your mind. It’s ok to move if you need to, but lying completely still can give the best results. 

Whether you listen with your kids or take some time for yourself, this episode is a chance to reset and recharge. And who knows, joining in might just be the highlight of your week!

Note for Parents to share with Kids: While listening, simply follow along with Gem’s voice in your mind, there’s no need to point to body parts. Feel free to move if you need to, but it's best enjoyed lying completely still. This powerful practice helps your brain feel like everything's completed, making it easier to fall asleep. 

A warning for grownups - if you lie with your kids while they do this, you might just fall asleep too! 🤣

Note from Gem: As a mum who survived (& still with a 3 year old that likes frequent reassurance in the night) the young kid phase with two frequent wakers, I've used this technique for years to relax and heal sleep deficits.

This episode is all about fun, creativity, and connection. As we draw, we'll also practice gratitude by sharing "3 Gems” the best moments from our day. Whether it's a big event, a tiny laugh, or a simple pleasure, every good thing counts!

Looking for GEMs in our life trains our brain to look for more goodness & appreciate the special moments that we may have missed while listening to our brains focus on what didn’t go well (thanks negativity bias!).
