We bring back Start Bench Cut from last week, but we add a 2010 twist on it. We go over B/R’s list of the top 10 trade targets before the upcoming trade deadline before recapping our games of the week last week, then giving predictions for the upcoming week.

The Spotlight Interview with Pierre Andresen in it’s entirety

In the final installment of this lengthy interview with Pierre, he talks about free agent targets for his New York Knicks. We then move into discussions involving Paul George, Jimmy Butler and the narratives around them. Teams that would be a good fit for Demar Derozan. Briefly dive into the Washington Wizards and he shows some love to my Dallas Mavericks

In part II of my interview with Pierre he reflects on the 2019-2020 season and how he’d like the Knicks to build on the previous season they’ve had. We look forward to the draft and moves his Knicks could possibly make with the 8th overall pick. We also dive into topics such as the importance of drafting role players and their impact. Building culture within an organization and even how Chicago has emerged as the new Basketball Mecca.

Me and my co-host discuss hot topics around the league such as Dak’s injury and pending contract negotiations. The release of Le’veon Bell and his best possible landing spots. We even somehow end up having a basketball debate as I try my very best to convince them that Jimmy Butler is not better than James Harden. To close out the show we go over each upcoming game for Week 6 and Jaron ends it with a HILARIOUS Marshawn Lynch story.

I spoke with Pierre who is 1/4 of the Through The Wire basketball podcast. We spoke about Chicago weather briefly before touching on how their podcasted started. We also focused on how he felt about the fans who are still sour towards Porzingis for forcing his way out of NY before then moving onto possible MVP candidates for next season.
