I hear alot of people complaining about the removal of historic statues, monuments and trademarks... Ask yourself this... what exactly does a monument represent? The definition of 'monument' is a statue, building, or other structure erected to COMMEMORATE a famous or notable person or event. Commemorate means to show respect and celebrate.. ☯️ So what are we celebrating? A dark history? Tradition is nothing more than a cycle that's only relevant as byproducts of the ones it's inspired.
