Greg and Darren have an inspirational conversation about their journey into multifamily investing and how they approach life. It’s all about mindset and intentionally and moving steadily toward growth and discovering how to apply your gifts to make your life, and in turn the world, the best it can be. One of the great takeaways – is “that sometimes you have to move deeper into the woods before you get the food”.
Nathan Herber is a licensed architect in New York and South Carolina and a LEED Accredited Professional with 14 years of experience in commercial and mixed-used real estate developments. He recently has shifted into the real estate industry working with a brokerage team in the industrial sector as a project manager. In addition, he is a dedicated client representative developing feasibility studies, lease/purchase analysis, site investigations, and early phase performance specifications and architectural drawings. Known to be a proactive leader, Nathan values personal rapport and maintains a firm sense of integrity. He lives in Greenville, SC, with his wife and five-year-old son.

Monica Herber, the creator of The Joyful Unknown, is a Certified Life and Marriage Coach and a Licensed Registered Professional Nurse in NY and SC. She has been happily married for 12 years to Nathan Herber. In 2015, they welcomed their beautiful adoptive son, Caiden, when he was 3 months old, after 7 years of struggling with infertility. At birth, Caiden survived a severe loss of oxygen, resulting in spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, microcephaly, severe epilepsy, and global developmental delays. The Joyful Unknown was born out of Monica’s own discovery of joy, found through the painful struggle toward faith-filled acceptance of her son’s prognosis, and her desire to help other parents like her find joy in the journey less traveled.
