Shawn is a “recovering” corporate consultant, who worked with Fortune 500 companies, local and state agencies, and top tier Universities to optimize business performance through investment in their greatest asset, their people. He began investing in real estate in 2018 with the purchase of a single-family home, which later became the first rental (and sale) in his current portfolio. Later, he and his wife founded Serrano Property Investments (SPI), began working with passive investors, and currently own and operate a portfolio valued at more than $2,300,000. Shawn is passionate about creating value for the communities where he invests by improving tenant experience and living conditions, renovating assets to the highest standard, and delivering outcomes for investors.

Jeff moved from New Orleans to Houston after Hurricane Katrina and found work as a data entry clerk behind the desk as a logistics company. He began working on solving problems for customers and soon found himself regularly in customer facing meeting helping sales people close deals.

 Eventually he became a sales rep for a lard Fortune 200 Global Logistics firm where he has continued helping clients to this day.

 He invested his commissions in real estate since 2015 so his “commissions could earn commissions” and scaled to over 1200 units in less than a year. Jeff has seen the benefits of how real estate can help grow net worth and wants to help others do the same.

Valerie and her husband Jonathan along with Alex and Helen Tam have created a company to help with the process - The Streamline Team. Their goal is to connect you to the VA that can make your life easier. Whether it is cold calling or grading homeschool paperwork, a VA does make life, both professional and personal, easier. 

A big takeaway is that you don’t need to know how to do something or have perfect processes in place before tasking it to your VA. They will have either the skills to handle it or the time to learn how to do it. 

We have just started with our first VA. For sure we waited too long and with Valerie’s great advice and tips we are utilizing an amazing new member of our team creating time to grow our business.
