As long as we live in this world, we will be tempted; Jesus was no exception to that and the fact that we're tempted doesn't make us unholy people. If that was the case, then Jesus would have been the most unholy person that walked the earth since he was tempted in every way. The issue lies in our response to that temptation. But we thank God for Jesus; that we do not have a high priest cannot sympathize with our weaknesses. He was in all points tempted as we are, yet was without sin. Jesus understands our weaknesses; Jesus can relate.

"For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice." This is the dilemma that we find ourselves in; the willing Spirit and the weak flesh. One of satan’s greatest tool is the power of suggestion. The devil cannot really make you do things..he doesn’t control you…he can only suggest things to you and It’s up to you to make that decision as to whether to do those things or not to do them. Having made that decision to follow Jesus, we gave up ownership of ourselves to Him because He died in our place to redeem us back to God. Our bodies are not ours and so we don't have the right to do just anything we want to with it. It belongs to the one that purchased us, so He decides what should be done with it.
