How many times do children change their minds in a day? In adulthood, we call it indecisiveness, but I do think changing one's mind is actually a sign of growth.

Notice how children receive someone they love /appreciate with genuine joy and gladness. Wouldn't it be nice if adults embraced that as well?

The children have taught me to do it while I'm shaking, to do it when skeptical, and to do it even when I have reservations. Because what is life if you don't try?

My niece taught me that it's okay to ask for what you need, no matter what's happening in the rest of the world. One day, I was running late for work, but she needed a hug, so she asked for it. Sometimes, things are just that simple.
