He made it his mission

Never to listen

When someone pronounced their name.

Always had to explain:

“No it’s not Sillian

Nor Magonnahay

And you must know it’s not Chalamane.”

Until one fateful day on the podcast

The boy botched an Irish name

His friends said “It’s Saoirse

Just like inertia”

Now he’ll never forget it again.
