In this episode, I talk with Amanda McKay about her experience of transitioning into motherhood and how it was not at ALL what she expected.

In the early months of pregnancy with her firstborn, Amanda experienced crippling anxiety. After giving birth, her beautiful baby girl had colic and Amanda felt like a failure because she couldn’t “calm” her in the way she desired. Her anxiety manifested itself as postpartum rage and ultimately led to Amanda taking responsibility for her physical well being and self care.

Today, Amanda helps anxious moms use self care and self compassion to get out of the cycle of overthinking, overwhelm and mom guilt so they can feel like themselves, be confident moms and healthy happy role models.
