We discuss the importance of making arrangements for medical decision-making and for burial while we are healthy, the double importance for us of Yaakov gathering his family before his death, understanding the strange blessing Yaakov bestows on his grandchildren, and learning from Yaakov, Yosef, and Sarah Hall the process of transition from grief/loss to consolation/comfort.
