I do an average job of going through an already built class to see if it lines up with the XP requirements that one should expect in a BX game with the listed abilities of the class.  Then I get to rambling on more about the classes in Pacesetter's BX Remastered book as it related to the Class Builder book.  Maybe I need help to just let go of how I feel about that product.....

Wherein I muse a bit about skills and why are they even in our RPGs.  I further muse on what type of player and GM need/want skills in their game.  Not the most coherent musing but you get what you pay for, right?

Wherein I do a review of a recent Kickstarter that is fulfilling, Third Kingdom Games' (Todd Leback) Filling in the Blanks - A Guide to Populating Hexcrawls.  I give you the specs on the product, go over the content and give you the good and the bad (which there really isn't any but me being picky).  What did I think about it overall?  Give it a listen.

Reading the Hobbit to the Minions, I came across a passage that has me feeling that many people playing RPGs are making the demi-humans more heroic than they were intended.  Should a GM be a bit more strict in how these dwarves, elves, gnomes, halflings, and other demi-humans are played?  There it is.  Discuss.

Wherein I get Minion Bravo to assist with a physical test of distance over time.  I raise an issue with movement and time in D&D and we do an experiment to help us both see if the rules hold up or trip before they get to the finish line.  Afterwards, some discussion about the results and how they can relate to our games.  And yes, I did have to edit out one of the Minion's name in the recording.

Wherein I talk a little bit more about blockers, some of which are stopping my gaming.  I also have calls from Other Jason, Che Webster and Goblin's Henchman.

Wherein I talk about blockers and recognizing I had a blocker in my prep for the RPG world for the minions.  I also wonder how many other Anchorites have a similar thing like this.  Also, how many of them really read the liner notes.  I read theirs, turnabout is fair play.

Yes, herein I go over the newly revised BX Remastered Dungeon Guide and see if they fixed all of the issues.  Betting windows are now closed so no more wagering.  I hope I can stay civil throughout this whole endeavor.
