Higher Education Minister, Blade Nzimande says the outgoing NSFAS board failed to carry out its basic responsibilities and that informed its dissolution. Nzimande briefed the media in Pretoria on his decision to dissolve the board of the National Student Financial Aid Scheme and to place NSFAS under administration. He announced his decision on Thursday after Ernest Khosa resigned as board chairperson.
