Far above, where silence blooms,
In the cradle of the starry looms,
Sits a man on a moonlit throne,
Carved from silver, all alone.
His face is pale, his gaze serene,
Beneath the glow of a world unseen.
His hands rest light on a glowing staff,
While comets whisper and meteors laugh.
No songbirds soar, no rivers play,
No rustling leaves in lunar sway.
Instead, a humβa cosmic tuneβ
The quiet breath of the silent Moon.
The sounds are faint, but they're alive:
The crackling dust where craters thrive,
The sigh of stardust drifting near,
The pulse of space that no one hears.
Each step he takes, a muted thud,
Soft as dreams, in a sea of mud.
The hiss of boots on powder white,
Echoes softly in the endless night.
Sometimes, faintly, the Earth will singβ
A muffled cry, a distant ring.
Its voices stretch through time and space,
And touch his heart in their embrace.
Yet the man, so still, does not complain;
He's learned to love the Moon's refrain.
The quiet roar, the stellar choirβ
A harmony of lone desire.
So there he sits, in silver beams,
Guarding dreams and shaping dreams.
A watcher, keeper of lunar lore,
Silent sounds forevermore.
