Proverbs 24:15-18 KJV
[15] Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place: [16] For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
Psalm 37:23-24
The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand.
LET US PRAY
You’ve seen the commercials where a person has fallen to the floor and then says, “Help! I’ve fallen and I can’t get up”. Well, today for my sermon thesis, I want to change that slogan around a little bit and say “Help, I’ve fallen and I want to get up”.
In all of our lives, at some point, we all have fallen. I’m not talking about literally falling because you tripped on concrete, ice or on a slippery floor. I’m talking about falling away from God. In some way, we have all sinned and have been tripped up and fallen into temptation. Each of us struggle in different areas of temptation. But God has another plan!
