Well, this was a big episode! Although Billy's family did not drive to the twin cities for a podcast, we did in fact record one live! Not only did we record a pod but we also let my 8-year-old son talk us into taking his challenge. After we are done gagging on challenging Jelly Bellies, Nate and Billy cover an array of topics ranging from news stories, gaga ball, Kanye West, ALLERGIES, dogs in restaurants, petitions for Abbotsford WI, and a call for crowlers and crullers. It's a weird one.

In episode 028 (hopefully Billy's last solo episode) many random topics are discussed. Prayers for vans, the danger of balloons and beef sticks, how striders are amazing (again), first haircuts, and if decaf is the NA version of coffee. Billy gets hot about car visors and dishes on a super secret special sauce recipe created by his 8-year-old son. As Nate is on hiatus who better to fill in for him than my better half, mother to my children, Amanda! I was able to get her in the "studio" to talk minivans, Crocs, robes, and all things sacred. We get the mother and woman's perspective on many running MBBC segments. We talk about appropriate language, laughing with and at your children, and the topic of empathy. Amanda dishes on what part of my Dad bod she likes most, provides an in-depth movie review, and talks sports in regards to the recent Bucks playoff losses. We wrap everything up with a Chip and Joanna hypothetical and we are done. The "brew" of the week is a Tapuat Kombucha out of Door County WI.

Nate takes a break for a few weeks during a busy work season and to get his tech up to snuff so Billy awkwardly stumbles through the pod without anyone to laugh at his dad jokes. Will you be that somebody? In this episode, Billy covers the idea that parents may have an overlooked advantage in the workplace. Also, movies are a substantial topic as Billy gives some ratings for recently seen children's movies and rants about the pricing of theater concession stand.
