World championships are on the line this Saturday night, June 4, at The Armory in Minneapolis. In the co-main event of the Showtime-televised card, Minnesota’s adopted hometown hero, David Morrell Jr., defends his WBA super middleweight title against tough challenger Kalvin Henderson of Fort Worth, Texas. Morrell hopes to move up the ranks and stay in line for a possible mega fight in the stacked 168-pound division. In the main event, expect fireworks as Unified World Super Bantamweight Champion Stephen Fulton Jr. of Philadelphia defends his titles against former champion Daniel Roman of Los Angeles. In this episode, we’ll hear from all four fighters in the main bouts. PBC’s Ray Flores, hosting the main press conference, kicks things off. What’s more, the Minnesota Fight Night podcast offers one-on-one interviews with Morrell, Fulton, and Warriors Boxing partner Luis DeCubas. Morrell and DeCubas talk about the June 4 card and a possible showdown with unbeaten former world super middleweight king David Benavidez, among other topics.
