Jesus told the Pharisees that the kingdom of God would be among them. He meant that certain people would be part of the Kingdom while others would not. This portion shows what kind of people are part of the kingdom of God. They are people who are dependent upon God as their only resource, and people who recognize that they need the mercy of God.

The children of Israel complained against the Lord, that He had not provided the food they wanted to satisfy the craving of their bellies. Moses complained before the Lord.

The coming of the kingdom of God. Currently, it is in the hearts of certain people. Which people? Those who recognize God as king, and recognize their need for His mercy.
