Ed is looking at childhood photos of Diana. Diana is in the bathroom, “extracting” something. Ed is amused by Diana’s baby pictures. Diana is removing her earrings. Ed looks at a childhood picture of Diana and her older brother. Diana scrubs her face with soap. Ed looks at a preschool picture of Diana, and a Polaroid of Diana dressed up for a formal date, about middle school age. Diana runs fingers through her hair, attempting to fluff up her tangles. “F— it,” she says. She walks out of the bathroom.Ed glances up, and sees a nude Diana crossing in front of the bedroom door. He smiles. Diana puts on underwear and a t-shirt. Ed continues to look through the photo album. Diana makes a phone call laying on the bed, trying to pull on her tight jeans. “Don’t go away,” calls Diana to Ed,”I’ll be right out.” Ed nods at her.“Yes?” says Diana into the phone. “Well, it’s an emergency. Do you know where she can be reached?” Diana continues to struggle with her jeans.
