A poem I wrote for a women’s empowerment brunch that came from the heart. As I wrote this poem I asked God what truly empowers me and I came up with prayer because prayer is real and it worked for me. It’s not just a prayer it’s the fact that I believed.

My personal opinion of why women have such a hard time uplifting each other. Giving in two different examples, open your mind, ears, and hearts.

Were human and we all have opinions, but who are we to pass judgment on the next person. It’s always a I would’ve, you should’ve or you could’ve ass person parading in the back ground, that has never even been in Your specific situation. Let’s DISENGAGED from passing judgement on others and JUDGE YOURSELF!!!

When you have that talk with yourself about your relationships decisions, and things are far from what you planned in life. Picking yourself up yet again, showing resilience and grace as you move forward, now that you have clarity it time to have The Talk with your partner. What will it be?
