Deception—and even the strong delusions that will characterize the end times (2 Thess. 2:11)—is rapidly rising in the body of Christ.

Jesus warned us not to be deceived. Paul warned us not to be deceived. Peter warned us not to be deceived. John warned us not to be deceived. James warned us not to be deceived. You can hardly read a chapter in the New Testament that doesn't issue a warning against deception. And yet deception is rising in the church.

When demons attack a born again Christian, they are trespassing against God’s property and therefore are subject to you to arrest; cage them and send them to the feet of Jesus to be judged before their time. If you minister deliverance to a person, make sure that you lead them into Salvation and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. There was a time when we taught in our churches that Christians could not have demons. Preachers had long sermons stating that Christians could be oppressed, regressed, digressed, obsessed and suppressed, but never possessed. We believed that a demon could be outside a Christian oppressing him but that it could not be inside him. The reasoning  used to defend this position was that Jesus and the Holy Spirit could not live inside the same body in which demons reside.

The problem was, our experience did not match our theology. When we ministered deliverance, we frequently prayed for people we knew were born-again, Spirit-filled believers--and they manifested demons! We had to face the fact that either our experience was wrong or our doctrine was wrong.Meanwhile, entire churches are lost tothe New Age.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. ~ 2 Tim. 1:7

 Fear is much more than just an emotion; fear is a spirit. Fear is the exact opposite activity of faith,  and it is a spirit that does not come from God.

Fear is a spirit of torment sent out by our enemy the devil.  But, we should not be surprised. The Bible says that "we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world...and against evil spirits in the heavenly places Eph. 6:12.   

God says that Satan only comes to "steal, and to kill, and to destroy" (Jn, 10:10).  And that is what the spirit of fear is sent out to do.

“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). His apostles preached, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). The Bible clearly teaches that Christ alone is the Savior of the world and the worlds’ only hope of salvation. Apart from Christ, “there is no Savior” (Isaiah 43:11; Hosea 13:4).

CONFESSION OF FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST:

 Victims of occult dominion must, with all sincerity, trust Christ and confess Him as Savior. Jesus is the only deliverer from the powers of darkness (demons). You must call upon the name of Jesus and be reconciled to God before dealing with the problem of occult involvement. You must be determining because Satan does not let people go easily. It is only through the blood of Christ and you’re open and honest confession of Jesus as Savior and Lord and that liberation will come.
