Jesus, My Good Shepherd is a message I shared to a Chinese American audience in Silicon Valley. I speak about the characteristics of a good shepherd from Psalm 23 and how the Jesus has revealed himself to me as that through the last several years.

I have been through a very challenging season, but he has brought me through and shown that I don't need to be afraid because even if I am weak he is strong and capable.

Jesus Christ, The Prince of Peace, Immanuel, God With Us, is the greatest gift ever given. This Christmas Prayer of Intercession was from of prayer call with prayer leaders from across the state of California. Listen and pray with me. 

I also transcribed and edited it into a written prayer:

Immanuel, God With Us!

My Christmas Prayer of Intercession

Father, we come before you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, Immanuel, God With us. Lord, we declare Your kingdom is coming to earth right now. We declare that it's not about us, Lord, it is about Your Glory.

We Are Not Ignorant of your schemes, satan. You know that you are coming against us to destroy us. But we are NOT victims. We declare that we are standing in the gap as intercessors. Jesus was sent to destroy all the works of the evil one. We are His followers and we are on the offensive. We are coming against you satan to destroy all your works.

Lord, right now, during this Christmas season, Your gospel is being preached all over, despite the enemies attempts to quench it. Right now, Christmas Carols that declare your truth are being performed everywhere. I break the label of post Christian culture. Right now in every mall on nearly every radio station, your gospel is being preached. Almighty God now move with your power, through your Spirit, the in same way you protected the baby Jesus from Herod, we ask you to move and protect all the babies from spiritual death. We stand again the devil and declare You’re not going to kill these spiritual babies, the lost who don’t know you yet. Open their eyes to your love. Heal their broken hearts.

We Declare that TODAY is the day of vengeance of our God. Father, you rescued your Son from death shortly after He was born, but there was a genocide that broke Your heart. There was weeping and wailing, and we know You grieved with them. There is weeping and wailing today, and we know You grieve with all those who are lost. For the joy set before Your son, He endured the cross. You knew what He would have to suffer when You gave Him to us as a baby. You also endured that suffering for the joy set before You. We declare that that day of joy is TODAY. Now is the time when You can pour out Your Spirit upon all flesh. Now is the time when You can set the captives free. Father we agree with you, we align with your timing, we align with your priorities and your purposes.

Father God, We worship you. Lord Jesus we magnify your name, Holy Spirit we exalt you. Today is your day Lord, we do not have to wait until tomorrow.

Lord, touch the lost. Deliver all those oppressed by despair, depression and hopelessness. Lord heal every dysfunctional family. Lord heal the sick. Comfort all those who mourn. Lord though the power of your Holy Spirit reveal yourself as the Prince of Peace. Release your Shalom and crushSatan under the feet of your Shalom.

Lord, we envision our state on fire for YOU. Lord keep us on fire, let us be logs in the burning fire that his your body. Continue to burn until the whole earth is covered with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord, the way the waters cover the seas. That is why you sent your son. That is why he died. That is why he rose from the dead, that is why he returned to you and why you sent the Holy Spirit. Accomplish these things oh Lord. This is our prayer of worship to you this Christmas Season, and every day of our lives. AMEN!

In this prayer call we began by praying through these scriptures:

Psalms 103:3 “Praise the Lord—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,” 

And 2Chronicles . 7:14 "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

If you have Jesus with you, while whatever you are going thru, may feel like you metaphorically have a terminal disease, you really are experiencing the vaccination - he will bring you thru the dark season and the antibodies He builds in you will bring healing to many others. 

We prayed for specific miracles for some friends and then we let the Lord leads us. 

We mourned and cried out to God for our state. We prayed for the victims of the Santa Clarita shooting and for the community. 

In a news article, one student was quoted as asking "What type fo world do we live in." I responded to that question through the lease of redemption.

This call was very emotional and raw, we grieved and humbled ourselves before the Lord to plead with him to do what only he can do. We called christians to a higher level, deeper commitment great faith to fulfill our high calling to be God's agents through which he implements his solutions.  We concluded with declaring his truth and his redemptive purposes over all of California and beyond.

On today's call, I shared a word about the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire. Jesus had to go through a baptism of fire - his sacrifice on the cross to provide that we could be Baptized with the Holy Spirit.

We prayed for the California fires. We prayed for veterans and victims of PTSD and we prayed for young people. Join your prayers with ours by listening to this podcast.

If you are walking through a dark time, this word is for you.

The fire of God fell on Mt. Carmel when Elijah prayed. When the Israelites witnessed this they repented and turned back to God. That fire which was an external manifestation, fire coming upon an altar and a dead animal, which was intended to point to something greater. Malachi prophesied that "I will send the prophet Elijah and he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers..." Jesus said the Elijah did come, if you had received him, he was referring to John the Baptist. John the Baptist said of Jesus "I baptize you with water, but there is one who comes after me who will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire."

In the run up to the cross, while the disciples are waiting for the kingdom of God to manifest, Jesus told them that first "I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how great is my distress until it is accomplished!"  Luke 12:50 

The burning bush, the pillar of fire in the wilderness, the fire on mount Carmel, those where all sings pointing to something greater. That was fulfilled on Pentecost, the Holy Spirit, God in us. Before Pentecost could happen, Jesus had to go through his baptism of fire - his sufferings on dying on the cross. We all have our own sufferings, we do not need to die, but we do get to have him come into our sufferings and be with us. We get to die to ourselves, we get to take up our cross, we get to follow him. And like fire transforms what it consumes, his fire will transform our sorrow, darkness and pain into righteousness, peace and joy.

On this prayer call we celebrated all the amazing victories at our recent Global Conference. I shared a word to continue to be vigilant. "The last thing you want to do is hit Goliath in the head with a stone and then not cut his head off." That is why I started a Daniel fast recently, after our global conference, to seek the Lord & to exploit the opportunity we have because of the victories we won. I invite you to join with us.

On this prayer call, I shared a word from Isaiah 61 & 62, about the transformation that is promised through the followers of the messiah. Isaiah 62.4 says:

"No longer will they call you Deserted,/ or name your land Desolate./ But you will be called Hephzibah,/ and your land Beulah;/ for the Lord will take delight in you,/ and your land will be married."

We prayed this promise for California and prayed for the dark history of our state as well as the beautiful things we accomplished and have yet to accomplish.

We interceded for our state and renounced the victims spirit so instead we could see Jesus as the ultimate scape goat to delivered all of us from our sins.

I shared this message at Centro International de Intercecion (International Center of Intercession) A hispanic church in San Jose pastored by my friend Nicolas Laszkiewicz. I speak in English and it is translated into Spanish.

"The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops."

Elijah displayed all the symptoms of what we label today as bipolar and PTSD. God did not give up on him, instead he gently healed him and restored him and the greater victory in his life did not come when he was strong but when he was weak. We need to confess our weaknesses one to another not be afraid of transparency and vulnerability - not only will we see personal restoration, we will also tap into a power of intercession that is not available to access any other way.
