In the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14–30), Jesusteaches that productivity in the Kingdom of God is not optional but essential.Every believer is entrusted with unique gifts, opportunities, and placements,and God expects us to use them to bear fruit. Being productive is not justabout activity, but it is work that requires faithfulness, diligence,and intentionality (1 Peter 4:10). Whether our resources seem many or few,putting them to use reflects obedience and honours God. Even the smallest step,such as investing wisely, is better than doing nothing, but it is still thelowest form of stewardship when compared to hands-on, fruitful engagement.Unfruitfulness, as seen in Matthew 21:19 and John 15:1–2, brings judgment,because it contradicts our purpose. God has planted us in specific places tosatisfy the needs and spiritual hunger of those around us. When we refuse toshine the light within us, darkness and corruption take over. Although the earth had the potential to bring out life after the flood, the ark had all the living things that wouldn't be able to sprout on their own. God entrusted Noah with keeping those animals. At that point in time, he literally had all the animals in the world. When God asked Noah to release those animals back into the world, it was an invitation to him to lay down all his resources in trust, and join God in rebuilding the world.

Christianity is a practice of living a certain kind of patterned life. There is a pattern for living your life as a co-builder with God. A resource is buried inside of you that God wants you to use with Him. Don't fixate on your weaknesses and downplay your strengths. Believe it as a child of God that you have something God needs you to use.

The ark was a temporal place. The animals couldn't live on the arc to the fullest. They had to be brought out to be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. Its the same way you can't reach your full potential if you don't apply your God-given resources. You need to come out into the world. Step out of your comfort zone and embrace growth. With God by your side, you will be fruitful.

It is never the will of God that you go down. It is His will that you succeed, as a testament to His grace. Events we view as negative, cannot take away from this fact. Only the product of the process can truly show how gracious God is.

It is not you building up yourself, but Christ who is at work in you.

All through the scriptures referenced, there are allusions of shifts from one state to another. From death to life, from old to new, from stale to vitalized. The Christian faith is an invitation to pursue a life different from what you knew.

Knowing that there was a shift is fundamental for a walk with Christ.

In the kingdom, there are no geniuses. Everyone is subjected to the rudiments of understanding who God is. You must go through the fundamentals. All the fathers of faith went through this process, and so are we. They were all shadows of God's manifestation, Jesus, who we strive to be like each and every day.

Shifting is a change of state. When you believe in Jesus, your state of being is altered, and you are passed on from death to life, and the life of Christ is eternal. It signifies a transition. You were, but today you are. The Christian life is progressive, so you cannot stay at where you are.

In the new testament, there is no intermediary between man and Christ. We behold Christ ourselves. We are invited into a place of revelation. Don't let anyone make a living out of your fear.
