In Part 2 of our conversation with Megan Soland, we move from learning about Human Design as a tool for self-understanding into experiencing it for ourselves. Megan gives us individual readings, exploring the ways we each move through the world, make decisions, connect with others, and find our own sense of purpose.
As we unpack our charts, we talk about the difference between what we feel we should do and what we genuinely want to do, the importance of honoring our need for rest and solitude, and what it can look like to trust the wisdom of our own bodies instead of searching for all the answers. Megan also helps us see how our individual designs shape the way we relate to one another — and how our differences can become part of what makes us powerful collaborators.
We explore:
In our call with Grammie at the end (a 4/6 Emotional Generator), we learned we both share part of her chart and talk about how women's options in life have shifted over the years. It sure brought tears to our eyes, you don't want to miss it!

In this episode, we sit down with Megan Soland — therapist, Human Design reader, new mother, and founder of Soul Footing Guidance. Megan shares her journey of following the breadcrumbs from psychology and trauma work into spirituality and Human Design, and how learning to better understand herself has transformed the way she approaches healing, relationships, and motherhood. Through conversations about generational patterns, conscious parenting, and learning to honor who we naturally are, Megan reminds us that healing isn't about becoming a perfect version of ourselves — it's about developing the awareness and compassion to choose differently when old patterns come back around.
Stay tuned for Part 2 where she gives us individual readings and gives us guidance on how we can work together best based on our unique designs.
We explore:
- Megan's journey from gymnast to therapist and eventually Human Design reader
- discovering Human Design during a difficult chapter of her life and using it as a tool for self-understanding
- where therapy and Human Design can complement one another in the healing process
- breaking generational cycles while also recognizing the gifts passed down through our families
- conscious parenting and creating space for children to become who they already are
- healing as an upward spiral and why revisiting old patterns doesn't mean you're moving backwards
- learning to trust your body, intuition, and the way you're uniquely designed to make decisions

We Explore:

In this episode, we talk with the co-mothers of LOKAH. A sacred space where they bridge the world of menstrual cycle education and ancient yogic tradition to facilitate deep inner understanding. They hold space for the multi-dimensionality that is being a menstruator. Their offerings include free resources on social media, live cohorts, an e-book, and retreats. Their mission aligns so perfectly with ours at Mirror Mirror: to share authentically through a lense of pure feminine creation and play.
---
We explore:
- our experience with periods and how we've been taught to associate with them
- birth control and how it can make us disconnected from our bodies
- we are all cyclical beings just like mother earth with four phases and seasons (Menstrual/Winter, Follicular/Spring, Ovulation/Summer, Luteal/Autumn)
- everything you need is inside of you
- how to track your cycle, even if you don't bleed
- the mother archetype

Our first episode was sort of an accident. We decided to hit record during one of our phone calls and this is what came out.
In this episode, we dive right in and discuss the mother-daughter bond, breaking generational cycles, the power of perception, being authentic, our connection to spirit, etc.
And we finish it off with a healthy bout of giggling :)

This is a 10 min intro about why we're doing this and some reflections now that we've recorded a few episodes.
Creating this podcast and posting it now has been the ultimate exposure therapy for our perfectionism. So, we're showing up imperfectly, doing it before we feel ready, and just going for it!
We hope you feel inspired, empowered or that something we say brings a smile to your face.
XO, Diane & Erin
