We've opened this year with 3 deaths under police custody, and it has left families in grief, caused a public outcry but yet, for these affected families especially, justice hasn't prevailed. We may not have an independent police inquiry but we do have the EAIC; the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission. But is it doing its job in overseeing the conduct of 19 agencies under them, including our police force?
