This story involves the disappearance of a young woman named Riitta Järvinen. She had been on a hiking trip in the vast forests that surrounded a Finnish town but had failed to return to her home. Her last message was filled with fear and confusion had set the town on edge for several months. Many in the area believed this was the work of the occult and its supernatural practices.

Detective Laura Mäkinen was called into the town to help the local law enforcement find the missing woman. During her investigation, she comes to find something far more sinister.
