I do an almost real-time episode where I review some positive feedback we got on returning to vlogging our days and how my week was made up of small moments that I want to remember forever. I also discuss how I learned about how live streams (and podcasts like this) can negatively affect your channel. Lastly, I talk about my interest in sim racing, a purchase I made, and of course, my progress in Greg's Fitness.
I discuss how I got inspired to get back into vlogging again, the importance of doing what makes you happy and not worrying about others or making comparisons, how I got back into watching football and playing it...in Madden. I also share my win of the week: Hitting a fitness milestone.
I discuss Clark "losing" his front teeth and how that is one of those special moments. That leads into a conversation about our family snow day and the fun we had with building not only a snowman, but a Sonic LEGO set, and playing a new PS5 game called Rider's Republic. Also in the world of gaming, I express my new love of VR, specifically a game called Superhot. I wrap up the show with a few failures I had with a new style of video and in my weight loss journey.
In this podcast episode, I discuss some name ideas for the podcast post-move. I talk about what a great decision this was to move these episodes to my "life" channel and create a separate/new series on my LEGO channel discussing LEGO content. Other topics include my reluctance to vlog the day to day activities and instead make my videos intentional. I reflect on the recent snow/ice storms we got and the fun they led to. Clark was home a day this week and we got the studio organized. This week also continues my fitness quest. I discuss my progress in losing weight and my workout activities. I reveal what I do while I work out and how I found a new way to burn calories and have fun and I also share my win of the week which is an interesting one to say the least.
I discuss why after 110 episodes I made the decision to move my podcast to a new channel and talk about my new priorities and direction in 2022.
I discuss my audio journal journey and the prospect of moving Missing Pieces to my vlog channel.
I discuss how taking a photo of a LEGO set Clark and I built caused controversy, my fear and hope for the future of humanity, Clark being sick yet again and getting to spend time together, my attempts to become a professional gamer, and of course my dream to get sponsored by Five Guys and buy a town in West Virginia. We also put the spoiled topic to rest for the last time.
I discuss why I didn't film this week on my vlogging channel, why brickitect is still going strong, the fun in growing a new channel, a new Christmas movie we watched, and engage in an awesome listener feedback session.
I discuss Thanksgiving week here at our house and a realization I made about time and how fleeting it is after spending a few days with my now grown up nephews.
I discuss how I've been spending my time, my favorite thing I've done in LEGO, how to defeat $20 LEGO Star Wars battle packs, my thoughts on YouTube removing the dislike button, and the future of humanity. I also read your feedback.
