While the baseline of the Christian faith is the belief that Jesus is God who dwelt among us and that the Holy Spirit is God within us because of the death, burial, and resurrection, many struggle to believe that God with us is also God for us. The truth that God is for us has been the theme of our Lenten teaching and reflection this year. As we come to Holy Week, we'll consider God for us in commemoration of the inauguration of Jesus as King, in the death of the King on Good Friday, on the lament for the King on Holy Saturday, and on the victory of the King on Resurrection Sunday.
