This week, we continue with our Coen Brothers kick. Their second film moves from the dark noir of Blood Simple to a Looney Tunes style live-action comedy. Some critics originally criticized this films over-the-top nature, but if you can get past the non-realism and complete genre change from the brothers, this is one hilarious ride. This week, we're back in the theaters to see what is currently on track to be one of the biggest movies ever made. Breaking the previous opening weekend record, the 4th Tom Holland Spiderman (and 38th MCU film) spends time on practical effects and characters people have grown to love. This week, we wanted to take a break from all of the serious movies we've been watching recently, and looked to a tale of intelligent sheep. This could be classified as a kids movie, but it might also be for those looking for a light watch. The Sheep Detectives (2025), directed by Kyle Balda.

This week, we dip into our picks for which movies "should be in the Top 250" movies. This movie is non-stop action, and contains some of the most impressive fight choreography we've ever seen. The Raid: Redemption (2011), directed by Gareth Evens.

This week, we finish off Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. We found the plot and dialogue to be equally clunky and confusing but without any real standout performances or action sequences. Additionaly, this is some of the worst action editing we've seen. The Dark Knight Rises (2012).

This week, we head back to Gotham City to dissect Christopher Nolan's acclaimed superhero epic, The Dark Knight (2008). While we give massive props to Heath Ledger's legendary performance and the film's spectacular action set pieces, there's a lot to nitpick regarding its clunky dialogue and head-scratching plot logic.
