When you love your church you will pray for the spiritual life of the church.

Pray they are strong in His Spirit

Pray for the Messiah to take up residence in your hearts

Recently I spent some time on mission in Europe and while in Germany I sat down with good friends Marvin and Meagan Schaefer. They work with OM International and serve in a local church near Frankfurt. I hope you enjoy hearing their heart for the world and for the church as they share their story.

“But God” makes all the difference.

God is rich in mercy.

God is full of great love.

The cross is an expression of the riches of God’s grace.

God made us alive.

God raised us, seated us in the heavens, saved us by His grace, and reconciled us.

Satan dominates the spiritually dead.

Our own sinful nature is a result of the Fall and is our attempt to bypass God. We can’t blame everything on the devil.

Spiritual death is universal.

As an unredeemed sinner you do as you please. No one is dragged kicking and screaming into sin. These are your inclinations.

Spiritual Death is Real. We are separated from God by our sin.

We are dead “in” our transgressions and sins, not because of them. We sin because we are sinners.

This is our common condition without Christ.

Spiritual Death Overwhelms us.

Society and the best of man pull us away from God.

Culture is all around us and is so pervasive that we cannot know how much our worldview is affected by it.

Because of the Resurrection, we have a story to tell!

Go, without limit and without end.

Make disciples - followers of Jesus.

Resurrection refers to a bodily resurrection, not merely a spiritual resurrection.

The resurrection of Christ is the greatest miracle of all time and the most verified.

Resurrection means that God can deliver in any circumstance. There is always hope.

Resurrection validates all of Scripture. It validates all of Jesus’ teaching. It validates all of Jesus’ actions. It validates the cross.

Silent disciples came forward. What will it take for you to come forward?

The precautions against fraud actually serve to prove the resurrection.
