John 7:24 starts out, "do not judge" but the verse does not end there. Jesus tells his audience not to judge based off of appearance but to judge them rightly. We find the wisdom to judge rightly when we have surrendered our will to His will and seek His glory instead of our own.

When Jesus taught about being the Bread of Life, many who had been following Him walked away. His words were too difficult. Too costly. Too confusing. But Jesus didn't soften the message to keep the crowd. Instead, He turned to the Twelve and asked, "Do you want to leave too?"Peter's response is one every believer should wrestle with:"Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life." In this passage we see three responses to Jesus' teachings. The flakes leave when a better offer comes around, there's a fraud hiding amongst his closest followers, and there are his friends who stick with him even when everyone else walks away

When Jesus declared, "I am the Bread of Life," He was revealing a truth far greater than physical provision. The crowds were looking for another meal, but Jesus offered something they didn't expect—a spiritual solution to humanity's deepest need.

The best place where we can be, is exactly where God leads us. That doesn't guarantee that we won't face storms in life, but Jesus will see us in those storms, meet us there, and usher us to through them.

God wants to invite people to participate in His plan for the world. Sometimes what he asks us to do feels impossible in our own way of viewing the world. When Jesus was on earth he spent time intentionally trying to show his disciples that in order to live by faith they would need to expand their way of viewing the world beyond what they thought was possible.

The Bible doesn't tell us that money is evil. It does tell us that it is the root of many evils because of how easy it is to make it the most important thing in our lives. How many evils in the world are a product of the pursuit of riches? Living doesn't mean we ignore money or run away from it, but that we see it rightly to be used for the purposes of God's kingdom.

We've all been given the gift of time on this earth. The question is, how will we spend it? As much as we may want to answer that question ourselves, the real answer is found in the life of Jesus. As he called his disciples to be fishers of men, so are we called to share the love of Jesus with others in our lives.

Jesus taught a unique way of responding to injustice that preserved human dignity without without the need to get even.
