This week we are continuing our series in Genesis looking at the creation of the garden. In Genesis 2, we will explore what it looks like to serve and keep the garden God created, as well as the partnership of men and women in creation.

We want to love our neighbors through the art of hospitality. Serving one another was at the core of Jesus’ teaching. He said that we would show the world that we are His disciples by our love for one another. Because of this, it is critical for every person who walks through our doors to be honored and valued.

We kick off a new series this week called "Beginnings". This week we look at Genesis 1 where we see the story of God creating the world. God is the creator of everything. He has created human beings in His image and given us a specific role in His good world.

We live in a world that sometimes struggles to communicate. In this episode we discuss the first of our church's five values - Dialogue Well. We believe it is not only a good human practice, but a biblical practice to to dialogue well with each other. We also share some of our thoughts on the events happening in Afghanistan and how we as believers can respond. 

Once a quarter instead of a traditional service with music and a message, we come together to serve our community in some way. If you weren’t able to make it on Sunday we packed 20 gift baskets for local hospital workers with notes of encouragements and prayers for them during this difficult season. We are so thankful for the work they are doing and how God is using them to heal and comfort those in need. Those baskets went out this week and we pray they are a blessing to the staffs that receive them.
