Join us as we continue our series on Paul's letter to the Philippians. We will be diving into an exceedingly powerful passage about Christ's descent from the Highest Heavens to the death of a slave on a cross. A passage that seeks to instill not only of the message of the Gospel into our hearts, and what Christ has done FOR us, but also shows us how Christ wants to live THROUGH us. We too have the same mind that Christ has. And that means we can walk in humility and love, and have a greater unity in the body of Christ!

One subject that regularly gets brought up from skeptics, seekers and Christians alike is the subject of Old Testament warfare. Is God truly a good and gracious God when He calls for Israel to devote their enemies to "complete destruction"? Was Israel truly righteous and just in their conquest of the Promised Land under Joshua? How should we think of all the stories of warfare in light of Christ dying on the cross for His enemies? We will be equipped with how to answer questions like these as well as give opportunity after the message for questions from those in person

As Paul sat in his prison cell he penned a powerful epistle that can truly help ground us in essential Christian truths. Truths like the necessity of abounding in love and discernment, the significance of seeing how God works through trials in our life, and also the importance of having an eternal perspective. 

Join us as we worship the LORD and unpack a powerful passage from the book of Romans. In Romans 8:28 Paul writes, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” This truth is illustrated over and over again in Scripture! Many Christians can also give numerous stories from their own lives that illustrate this beautiful truth.

This Sunday we will be looking at what Proverbs has to say about money. In fact, there is so much that God has to say on this issue that we will only scratch the surface on the most important themes. Themes like honoring the LORD, greed, stewardship, hard work, honesty, caring for the needy, and laying up an inheritance. Of course, we will see how this all ties into the Gospel and our Lord Jesus!

As we conclude our mini-series on Psalm 18 we will learn about how David had complete victory over the enemy, and how his victory pictures Christ's victory over the Spiritual Enemy. We share in Christ's Victory and the devil is under our feet. There are many lessons about this both from the life of David and Joshua that give us great encouragement as we move forward in life as soldiers of the Lord.

In the second of our three part series on Psalm 18 we will learn why David could boast in his blameless and righteous state, how he was empowered by God to jump over walls and run against armies, and ultimately how God's gentleness made him great! What God did for David He will do for you and me!

Psalm 18 is the only psalm in the Bible that is recorded twice! It is that important! Not only is it recorded twice, but it is also the fourth longest psalm. There are so many glorious truths in this psalm concerning who God is, and how He comes to our rescue, that we are going to spend three Sundays mining the gold from its fifty verses.

Jesus said, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!" (Matthew 7:11) The Father wants us to live from His goodness, His Spirit, His grace, His life, His provision, and His love! We are co-heirs with Jesus Christ and need to learn to live as beloved children of our Father in Heaven!
