MISSION POSSIBLE? 

The first assignment of season 2023-24 season has arrived. Our objective is to recap our cup final memories, get the early word in on the new signings, take an in-depth scan of the opposition and new kits and pick some possible additions for the ICT XI. There’s also a sit-down with the gaffer and a new arrival. Unlike the movies, and hopefully our season, this podcast will not self-destruct in 5 seconds.

2:10: Moff gets a quick round of how the team’s summer has been with a mix of rest and recuperation to up routing to pastures new for some. If anyone is interested in buying in North Ayrshire drop AY a message, he’ll do you a good deal.

3:45: Cup Final memories - The guys look back on the thrills and spills of Cup final day and reflect on their best moments on a day that the team put up a real fight against Celtic.

7:33: Goodbyes – We get farewells out of the way early on with a fair few to get through. Wishing all of them the best for the future (apart from Allardice, maybe).

20:08: Hellos – We welcome the new recruits at TCS and the chaps give a quick rundown of what they think so far of the new faces and the renewal of our record-breaking hitman.

32:50: Player interview - Stevie chats with new signing Adam Brooks who shares what drew him north, his domestic and European experiences at Celtic, hopes for the season and who’s head chef in the house.

43:15: Free Agents -The Pod team tasked with hunting around the free agent market to see if there’s any gems out there, ranging from affordable to ancient. Anyone taking your fancy?

55:52: Opposition club by club - a look at the rest of the league, getting the scoop from opposition fans on who’s done the best business and who they fancy to finish where.

1:29:49: New Kits - Back in stripes for home but Stevie thinks we might be short a musical instrument and a piece of neckwear from completing the away look.

1:33:45: Game by game - A quick breakdown of the pre-season and league cup matches to date. A mix of great goals, emerging young stars, but a cure needed for dismal defending…

1:45:38: Manager interview - Stevie gets a bit of time with Billy Dodds discussing the upcoming season. What’s been done differently compared to last summer in terms of prep and what lies ahead.

2:05:54: League Lookahead – A look at the first few fixtures of the season starting with Queens Park, also features games against the two new kids on the block and the big question. Will Raith find a win against us?

2:15:08: Competition time – Scottish footy mag Nutmeg are offering a year’s free subscription to a lucky winner. The question being what was the first away ground Sandy visited as an ICT fan?

2:16:58: Predictions – To round it off the guys go around predicting where Caley Thistle finish in the league (done by obligation).
