How you begin The Story matters. How you end the Story matters. The beginning and ending will be the anchor points from which the rest of the Story is carried.
God is not interested in introducing more shame into our world. He lives and died to remove it. God’s posture to you and the world is one of radical love.
What story we believe about our world, God, and ourselves determines the way we live out our story.
Your past is still a part of your story. You can’t change that. Unless you can own your past, you will live as a slave to it.

Kingdom of God is here and it looks like forgiveness, service, and generosity.
If you want God’s presence in your life love people well.
If you want to see real change trust God, be vulnerable, and pour yourself into people. God will take care of the rest.
Change only happens when you risk.

Discipleship is an intentional relationship in order to draw out the potential of another within community.
Real discipleship happens in the day-to-day messes of life, not in the white walls of a church service.

Implications:
You cannot faithfully walk with Jesus as a lone wolf.
Real freakin community is rare and delicate. We have to fight for it.
Ultimately you will get out of community what you put in. Maybe not right now and maybe not when you want it. Be you will reap what you sow.
God’s work and character is put on display through people living and working together...sometimes at His det- riment.

Implications:
Vulnerability is not weakness but strength. It is the at the core of all of our fears and insecurities.
If you accept your weaknesses you no longer are allowed to be defined by them.
It is only when we can accept our weaknesses that God can do something about them.
The health and effectiveness of a church community is determined by the willingness of individuals to be real stinkin people and create space for others to do the same.
